Heyyyyy uhhhhh I made a msm magical island layout template thing for anyone who wants it ig? It’s kinda ass but it’ll get the job done I think. I included various iterations (all pngs, naturally), and my reference so you can tell where all of my ratios came from. I couldn’t find any available templates (I wanted to make my own magical island) so I made this :D
Between the map theme and Lyriccle (yes it's fanmade but it got so popular that I'm factoring it in anyways), I feel like I'm justified in saying The Monster World/title screen Ghazt is THE best track in My Singing Monsters history. It's the only sound that can solidly say that it singlehandedly IS My Singing Monsters and that track has essentially shaped everything MSM is for over a decade now. Ghazt has been #1 since before it was even released

One of my favorite things about Magical Nexus is that there's no definitive carry monster. Like, with most islands, including the other best of the best, there's one monster that most people would agree is the absolute best of the bunch soundwise. On Ethereal Island you've got Ghazt, Magical Sanctum has Xyster, Bone Island has Withur, even as far back as Plant Island you've got Bowgart. One of the few really good islands this wouldn't apply to is the release version of Water Island, which even then I'm sure most people would say Shellbeat. Magical Nexus though? Like a third of the monsters could reasonably be considered the best monster on the island and those would easily be the best monster by any other island's metrics. Fluoress, Floot Fly, Whimsies, Peckidna, Withur, Uuduk, Gloptic, that's not even the fill list of monsters that could essily be considered the best sound on Nexus. The carry monster on Nexus is everyone. It's a major part of what makes Nexus the first island in recent times to feel full.
