Not to be too dramatic here but like I genuinely believe that Ferry is just about on par with Lana Del Rey in terms of songwriting capabilities. In terms of lyricism they’re both able to communicate and express so much and they both have such a way with words.

Lana ofc is much older and has a way bigger discography, and Ferry’s music is more intense and electronic/industrial, but honestly when it comes to pure songwriting ability I place them at about the same level in my mind.

I also love Ferry’s music so much because honestly they always deliver. Production always slaps. Lyrics always kick ass. Art and story always break into my house and beat me with a stick. Their work is so fantastic. Honestly at this point all I need to do is get around to asking my parents to let me spend my money on their patreon lol.

I love that Knockout likes human stuff. It’s literally the cutest thing about him. Like he goes to drive-in theaters and he uses phrases like “you bicker like an old married couple” and he drag races and he describes himself as an “automobile enthusiast” and he uses random French phrases like “tout suite”. Like it’s so charming and it’s such a great little facet of his character— he sees value in the new places and entertains the ideas of new people and species. I’m not doing a good job of putting it into words but I really love how it sorta speaks to him as a character overall— like he’s open minded and creative and he genuinely appreciates novelties. He’s always taken at face value by other Decepticons as “flamboyant” and “shallow” but I think his true quality is that he bothers to appreciate the little things. I’m not surprised he was the only Decepticon in TFP to have been confirmed to have a Conjunx, since he really is profoundly romantic— and he sees more to life than the “bigger picture” that you would imagine he would be forced to see from having such a long lifespan.

Sorry that probably makes no sense but I love Knockout <3

He's rolling up to those roadside attractions, he's taking breaks in bougie places so he can hear people fawn over him, and then he's destroying people either physically or emotionally at night in those races. He goes home to Breakdown but Unfortunately also everyone else.

The way he likes Earth makes it so funny when contrasted with Ratchet. "You're leaving base? Willingly? Often? To hang out with humans?"

It's hard to predict what Jinx's motivations in season 2 will be.

Her big motivations for season 1 were proving herself to Vi/Silco and chasing after their love and approval.

So now Silco's dead and her relationship with Vi is strained to say the least. Suddenly Jinx has no one left to prove herself to. No one left to obsessively build her life around.

She's claimed her identity as Jinx but what does that identity mean now that she doesn't have to live up to what either Silco or Vi expect from her?

Her first act as fully independent Jinx was to shoot the council. Was it a deliberate act? Or just lashing out in the moment?

By extension, will her act of violence be more acting out or will they be part of a greater plan?

And when all is said and done and blown up, how does Jinx deal with the fallout of her actions when she no longer has Silco or Vi to protect her?

Jinx's storyline in season 2 is one I'm looking forward to because it's going to be the first time we really see Jinx truly on her own. It's going to be interesting to see her define herself and her goals by herself. No more Vi trying to make her Powder, no Silco trying to make her Jinx, now she has to be her own person.

While I don’t have any real theories (like with evidence) for what it’s gonna be, I do have some things I HOPE they choose to have her do:

1. Explore her maturity (this is my big point since now all her authority/parental figures are gone and she feels abandoned by the world the way many people forced to mature too early may want)

I personally REALLY want a scene where she undoes and redoes her braids, because

- it could symbolize maturing, because her braids in the game were a character design choice to convey her childishness and clinging to childishness, especially even after she’d “outgrown” it

- I think (I’m not sure tho correct me if I’m wrong) one of the writers confirmed Silco would braid her hair, so seeing her braid her hair without Silco to help her would be a really great way to show how she’s missing him in her life and in her identity (since her braids are a massive part of how recognizable she is as a character)

- literal and figurative “undoing”/“unraveling” (doesn’t need much explanation)

2. Explore her relationship with Ekko (NO romance tho)

- Ekko’s guilt for thinking he’s responsible making her the way she is ???? Hello ??????

- as they’ve both developed as characters, I love love love the dynamic of “build up the undercity” vs “burn down Piltover” because there’s so much they can do with that. I can also see that idea extending to the two of them, Ekko taking the high road in conflict and Jinx being undercutting and even self-sabotaging (like with the grenade in their last fight scene).

- and ofc I trust the writers to not make them love interests because. That would just be stupid. For obvious reasons. As much as I enjoy Timebomb as an ship, it’s more of a “what could’ve been” ship rather than one I want to be canon/ think should be canon.

3. Something something uhhhh Sevika

- seeing them both without Silco choosing to turn against each other would be sick as hell bro (Sevika is probably gonna try to beat Jinx’s ass sooner or later and I want a fight scene with them so bad)

- shitty authority figure = more themes of maturity???? This remains to be seen
