Rare Wubbox

Rare wubs don’t technically… exist??? In ToH??? It’s weird.

There’s two kinds of wubs in ToH, the Standard Model (owned by The Blue Bitch™️) and the Biomechanical Model, which turned into the Guardian Wubs (epics) after the Great Thunder.

ToH’s equivalent of rare wubs are called Clerics—Mack in the askblog is a Cleric if you would like to talk to him—and they literally look and act exactly the same as rare wubs save for not having speakers and a record player by default. They’re well-trained Cadets (commons) in electrical magic, specifically. They’re common in any kind of monster settlement and usually take up the role of paramedics and nurses.

So yes, if you were beat up enough, they would be happy to carry you bridal style.

Also I’m bored as hell. Please send me your favorite singing monsters and I’ll reply with a headcanon I have about them when I’m available.

Be aware I am open to all monsters but particularly I am more partial to naturals, fires, ethereals and *especially* the Wubboxes. I might not have anything particularly unique for the newer ones but I will try anyways.

Any ideas about cherubble?

Cherubble!! This one’s interesting.

Cherubbles, or rather their non-sentient ancestors, are considered the earliest known experiment by the Colossals on sentience in Harmonair. They were, however, not the first organisms to exist on the planet, that award would belong to some very simple single-celled organisms, much like Earth.

While they are modified to mimic an Earthen mollusk—specifically a sea slug—the Colossal that designed Cherubbles (likely Dulcettea) wanted them to be able to manipulate objects and make tools, so they bestowed some dextrous tentacles amongst them that in canon are used to hold its “harp”.

Being such a primitive monster, too, their intelligence and consciousness likely works a bit different from that of later monsters, but this is not fully understood.
