i waited so long for tiwpor to happen that when they were happening i just watch two seconds of interaction and pause to freak out
did they really deprive us of this scene? 😭😭😭
one of my most fav parts in ep 11:
...
like these two really went beyond expectations. it isn't abt loving or accepting tinn despite of him being gay or abt the person he loves being gun. it's the fact that even though they are accepting, what if the society hurts their son and istg their concern is so valid, so refreshing and the communication they had through their worries was so beautiful.
and i love the fact that tinn's mother is herself trying to get to know gun better (by watching his performances) instead of lashing out at tinn for lying abt a lot of things through most of the series. altho directly asking gun wasn't the best move, she's trying to understand her son, his feelings and his reasons, going through her own worries before confronting her son and i love that so much abt her.

The beginning of the episode: *shows Chinzhilla winning Hot Wave*
Me: Plottwist, it was a dream!
Me, a few seconds later: Wait, no, that was supposed to be a joke!
It's said the ground becomes stronger after the rain. The fight was much needed to vent out their feelings but glad that they quickly made up. I like how the conflicts are resolved within that same ep, no dragging.
Gun's mom is already awesome, trusting Tinn for her son and here Tinn's parents showed how good parenting is done!
In the end, no one wished for them to win the Hot Wave cuz it's just one contest, their friendship is what matters the most.
During that entire trip, Tinn barely spoke, he was there for support but never interfered, its Music Club's matter, after all.
Finally TiwPor...yessss!
Can't believe we are coming to an end of this beautiful journey. Thanks to the entire team for making my weekend gleeful.
colour coders idk if this has already been said but on my rewatch it stood out to me how they paralleled tinngun's conversations with their moms.
in tinn's case he's caught off guard. he's on high alert. like the dim, hazy lighting, it's unclear where the conversation is heading. the red his mom is wearing feels like a danger sign. a stop sign. it kinda shows how he still doesn't feel safe enough to tell her. and it also shows how she stops herself from asking what she wanted to ask.
contrast this with the setting of gun's confession. it's well lit. he knows what he's going into. the blues and greens are all a colour of comfort. "go ahead" says the blue of Mrs Gim's gown. "Trust me. You're safe." it's a green light for both of them to talk freely and to reinforce that trust.
lmao at Phat trying to pull a Sam Gamgee
