the fuck.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the baby gays are gonna cry a lot, but what is going on with Phak? Why he is so conveniently standing right in front of the crucifix? Which is right between the boys.
. . . cause he's always in the middle.
Just in between.
Ready to pacify when needed or provide a blanket without being asked.
Because it's his duty to tend to the flock of students, count their heads at night before bed, and repair the building.
He's like a mix between a shepherd and a carpenter.
I see you.
Latte has a really cute smile 🤏🤏
You didn't do anything wrong. I can back you up. Let's hope that's true. TICKET TO HEAVEN Episode 1
Mr. Fanboy Q15 collection~ they filmed some emotional scenes today👀👀
Xiao Chiye being jealous of sunlight is his funniest trait
The juxtaposition of the marriage equality law passing and Barth returning to the church because someone important to him is being ordained... y'all, oof. Ooof. Also, I am starting to worry about the ending of this romance already.
catholic church try not to brainwash little traumatized kids: task failed
If you have enough faith, you'll feel His presence yourself. TICKET TO HEAVEN Episode 1
Fourth is so EYES.
the ending of the first episode was so....
the way the camera shook and the way the panic was oh so evident on tanrak's face...especially after he noticed the crowd of people who were simply waiting there to accuse the two boys of something that they possibly won't even completely get the chance to talk or explain about.
it's the pivot where the perspectives subtly shift, barth, the one who is prejudiced against and tanrak, the ultimate rule follower- colliding in this unfortunate incident where bias will precede actual fucking logic and communication as time goes by.
the conversation about the man (tanrak) going to heaven, getting led astray by "devils" (barth) happening mere days ago infront of the boys only for such situation to occur for the crowd to simply stand there, waiting to fit the two boys in the imagery in the coming future.
it's the fear on tanrak's face that scares me the most cause this is probably the first time that he'll actually stand on the side that didn't follow the rules and he's dreading the uncertainty of the judgements that might be made against him especially since, it's the one institution to which he has been giving his everything to.
happy religious guilt saturday
My secular ass cannot comprehend how sending minors to preparatory schools for a religious "career" is not child indoctrination.
Tanrak has lived a life where the rules are a comfort and a safe place. He is safe when he calls on authority because the authority has always been on his side and supports him and wants the best for him and he can trust them wholeheartedly.
Barth has not had the authority on his side in his life. The authority has punished him unjustly, sided with the ones who hurt him and condemned him. He has no trust in the powers that be or the people in charge and no reason to trust them.
Barth knows his place in this world and this school... or at least where he sees his place among them. And he sees where Tanrak belongs as well. But Tanrak does not see the same in Barth because he's coming from his own very specific perspective on the situation.
And now we truly run into some of the issues because now we get into the idea of having faith in something that condemns you. Tanrak trusts in his faith entirely but Barth has nothing of the sort because he has seen a different side.
This poor gay boy who is here now and has so much pain and fear and loathing right behind him but now he's here and the darkness is real but so is finding light again.
