I am returning to school. I’ve been out for a year dealing with my mental health and financial issues. I changed my minor over to Women and Gender Studies, but I am still pursuing a B.A. in English.

I will begin my summer semester tomorrow.

I am taking:

GRMN 1001: Beg German Lang/Intro German Clt I BIOL 1108: Principles of Biology II w/Lab ENGL 3010: Intro to Professional Writing

I am taking all of these online, so it should be interesting. I would have preferred to take my language class in person, but it is what it is.

Over the last year, I have had great success with medication and therapy for my depression and anxiety and I am experiencing my best mental health status in years. I have spent a lot of time over the past year reading. I have a separate blog that is a Booklr, so click here if you want follow it.

I am nervous about starting classes up again, but my course load is much lighter than usual. I just have to take it a step at a time.
