MSR17
Wow. Wowowow. Words fail thinking about what to say to sum up the past four years, honestly. Going into high school, I didn't think I was going to see the end of it, and anyone who knew me 8th grade or freshman year could attest to that. If I could sit 14-year-old me down and tell her all the things that happened, all the good things that came from all the countless trials and errors we faced, I would tell her that she'll be okay. I'd tell her to just keep going until she sees the sun, because although it took a while, she was found. She was promised greatness and greatness was provided in ways that one would never think to be great. Through her trials and errors, this smiling girl with beautiful forever-friends around her would find the resilience countless times to laugh and cry equally, not one or the other. Through pain and anguish she found little sparks kindling in her veins of happiness she deserved, and finally got. She got a sense of her true self, one she looks forward to meeting every day for the next 4 years, and for the rest of her life. If I could sit 14-year-old Tori down, I'd tell her that after four years, I love her, and I think that's what these trial and errors amount to. I don't owe this success to anyone but myself, because I've come to love who I really am regardless of tribulations. I've seen another side of myself that 14-year-old me- who thought she knew everything- had even dreamed of. She never though anything would change from the way she felt, but, shit, was she wrong. To my forever-friends, I love you from the bottom of my heart and with every fiber of my soul. Alex, Sabrina, Diana, Sofia, Faith, Alexa, Cheyene, Alyssa, Conchetta, Hanna, Rachelle- everyone. You're the people that helped me find me and who found me to begin with, and I'm so, so, SO honored to know each and every one of you. I'm so proud of all the hardships you've overcome, whether you've graduated with me today or not. You're all examples of people 14-year-old me wanted to be, and finally became- confident queens who can rule this world with the flick of their finger. This is not the end, just a continuation of our long, winding road! #MSR17
