i have a problem where i CANNOT bring myself to finish an entire webnovel. ORV? 89% read. SCTIR? also 89%. erha? 38% of the way through the most recent book (number 8).

the only ones i finished were the ones where i didn't know the end was coming (svsss and mission save the hunter) because i thought the extras were part of the main story.

I was not expecting the sci-fi element to this novel at all. I've gotten so used to the eldritch horror fantasy like ORV and SCTIR that i was absolutely blindsided when they said Proxima Centauri B.

i was losing it when they brought in theoretical quantum physics. and when they said they were mapping out the planet??? good lord, reading about their space travels felt like a fever dream
