this is them, to me.
The scariest sentence in the novel so far
I want to talk about one thing I’ve really liked from tsctir so far and that’s Han yoojin in battle
He’s not really all that strong but he’s been in business for a while and his experience is really where he shines. Either from clever tricks to items to simply knowing how to counter his opponent we can really see his thought process in battle and his quick reaction time to create an engaging fight. It’s definitely refreshing to see someone play with their experience like this compared to either completely avoiding combat and leaving it up to others or only relying on powerful objects or op skills to one shot things. While it’s sort of similar to what Han yoojin does like I said they’re more tricks used to propel the action rather than what carries the fight.
And honestly it’s rarer for the mc to be well adapted to fighting in general often being rather new to it (at least in my reading/watching experience) so reading from a veterans position is quite refreshing. It’s also fun to see how he uses his experience to help others in battle(like when he ends up fighting with the main cast occasionally) being able to see where they can improve and what they excel at as well as matchups between fighting styles.
Hes well adapted to fighting and he efficiently uses that to his advantage in creative and reasonable ways every time making up for lack of attacking skills (at my point in the novel) and as I said before his physical capabilities.
Always funny to me how people in tsctir talk about Seong Hyunjae like he's a known playboy and Han Yoojin is the new target of his fickle affections. Except we're supposed to believe as the reader that all of this is meant in a non romantic manner.
"Like bro he's going to friendship dump you so badddd. Like don't you know he's made friendship bracelets with everyone in the tri-state area."
And then Han Yoojin is just like "L + Ratio + I'm built different" and he's actually right and the rest of the cast is just left wondering what the fuck is going on.
Some how
For some suspicious reason
It may turn out to be difficult to randomly find similar fanarts across 4 fandoms for some matching wallpapers…
A strange and unexpected struggle with no clear explanation I’m sure 🙂↕️
motivation to write has struck me and I need help on deciding one thing
I had this really wonderful idea for a WIP or fanfic idea of a SK8 the Infinity-inspired AU for The S-Class That I Raised, where the cast attends an underground skateboarding race called “S” (or maybe I’ll change the name to something else for underground skateboarding, but you get the gist).
The story could follow the perspective of Yoo Myeongwoo as the main character (since I love him, your honor), and how he stumbles upon this world of underground skateboarding. He becomes a mechanic who fixes everyone’s skateboards while rediscovering his passion and sense of self.
The general idea is that this is more of a modern AU. So all the S-class hunters and other characters are ordinary people living in a normal world, studying or working, and finding the thrill in extreme sports to escape the mundanity of daily life. It focuses on goals, rivalry, relationships with others, and what they want for themselves.
For Yoo Myeongwoo, since he never became a hunter and dungeons don’t exist and without the Forge skill, he was extremely timid and depressed, believing himself useless and undeserving of kindness. As a result of his continual failure to do well in school and live up to expectations, he became extremely hard on himself and stopped believing in his own ability. But his love for making things gets awakened again at his lowest point of depression when he accidentally stumbles upon the underground skateboarding grounds and meets Yoojin as he is fixing someone’s board. And before he knows it, he gets pulled into another world.
For Yoojin, for example, I was thinking that he does attend “S,” but he isn’t as good at skateboarding as everyone else. Instead, he does other things, like keeping everyone in check and making sure they are safe. In his normal life, now that Yoohyun is successful in university, Yoojin moves on from old construction or labor jobs he was doing to raise Yoohyun, and instead works in a community centre that has a youth club and skateboarding workshop (which he recommends Yoo Myeongwoo work at once he gets to know him).
Even though Yoojin has his hands full with “S,” his kids, and his responsibilities, he might also be thinking about going back to school himself and maybe becoming a vet. It could be Yoojin thinking about what he wants for himself now that he has “succeeded,” and Yoohyun is grown up now, and what he wants for himself, with a focus on character growth and everyday life in the normal world.
I’m still working out kinks and plot holes, but I will smooth it over, don’t you worry.
My current trouble is figuring out what sort of careers or studies the characters will be doing. Like for Moon Hyuna, I know she will continue doing sports like tennis. Maybe Noah is studying abroad and learning Korean or studying medicine, and Yerim is still in high school. But for everyone else I’m having trouble figuring out what they are doing.
Especially for Yoohyun, since maybe he will pick a degree that is “correct,” but there might be something else that suits him better.
So if anyone has any ideas I’m open to them. Thank you for taking the time to read and have a wonderful day/night !!!
The official English translation of My S-Class Hunters (manhwa) will return on Tappytoon on June 10, 2026!
I imagine it'll return to Webtoon at the same time, though there's currently no notice about it on any of their socials.
The manhwa returned in Korean on April 20, 2026, and is ongoing. The English translation will be 15 episodes behind if they start off with 1 episode, or 8 episodes behind if they follow the Korean and upload 7 episodes for the return day.
More information on the series here.
