I keep seeing reviews for Maggie Stiefvater's new book The Listeners, which say things like "trc fans won't like this because it doesn't have a thrilling action plot" and I would like to know if those authors have ever met a trc fan

what still kills me about marie/marie is that its so fucking unnecessary. we as the audience had NEVER heard of grandma lynch beyond a vague mention in opal. she could have just NOT done the two maries. it added nothing. we could have saved an entire 3 pages to maybe use to answer ANY OF THE TEN BILLION QUESTIONS WE ALREADY HAD

Atp it's more humiliating for me to think about TRC than it is to think about Darkest Powers because I got used to being into Darkest Powers again, but I'm totally not used to thinking about TRC anymore. It's been so fucking long, and now I'm losing my mind again.
