MSTRKRFT hit it off after a moment of not touring, with Death From Above 1979. Here are photos of the after party at the Pike Room after DFA1979 played at the Crofoot. The last time I saw these guys perform was at the Royal Oak Music theater, and they kept the crowd going just as much as their 'Hand of God' tour back in 2008. They've played festivals like Bonnaroo in 2008 with enough energy to fill an entire outdoor stadium if they wanted. It is unsure of what their plans are for their future but it looks like they will be appearing all over the US and amongst other places in the world, I'm sure. Hailing from Canada, these guys take the club vibe of Toronto everywhere they go. Always a ground breaking ass shaking till they stop, energy that makes you feel like you've needed the time to dance that much for a long time.

Wobbly

Problem: The mood is, shall we say, wobbly. Not good, not bad, just wobbly. Cold weather rolling through, and with it, lots of uncertainty. Solution: First took the dog out for a 1 mile jog which is about her distance before she starts to pull my arm off in one direction or another. Then back out for the real run, another 3 on the esplanade. Results: Doesn't feel so cold anymore, and I'm a bit more stable. Just a bit. Jamz: An oldie but a goodie. Can't help but think of training for my first half-mary during the icy cold winter of 06-07.
