There’s such a bad connotation associated with being a single girl. It’s like, for fuck’s sake, I like being single because it gives me time to myself! I’m always around people so it’s nice to have some time to… OK, this sounds so cheesy, but time to really discover yourself, to get to know you.

[If I weren’t an actress], I would want to be at uni. I would want to be studying psychology or history. I’m fascinated by psychology and psychopaths and sociology. I just read The Psychopath Test. […] It’s just like mind blowing. I just started on this book called Confessions of a Sociopath as well. My mom thinks I’m crazy. She’s like, “Why are you reading all this shit? This is terrifying. Why are you obsessed with that stuff?” I just find it so fascinating.

I don’t really have a process. I’m very much an in-the-moment actress. I suppose I just kind of wing it because I feel that as long as I know my character, I should be able to be spontaneous on set.

What would be the end arc for your character, if you could write it yourself? I actually don’t know because of how last season left off. There are so many options. She could run with Littlefinger and become a villain and sadistic. Or she could also team up with her brother Jon. I’ve actually just got the scripts for [season] seven, so I don’t want to say too much because I’ll probably end up slipping some truths out.
