I have a wonderful story to share!
So I’m playing PMD RTDX, and I’ve been trying to get through Mt. Faraway (a difficult, 60-floor postgame dungeon with Ho-oh at the end). I keep being defeated, though.
So I started a new attempt today, and it was going okay until I ran into a monster house. I kinda panicked, thinking I was gonna suffer yet another defeat because I had no room-clearing moves or orbs that would be useful. In a moment of desperation, I used a Helper Orb I’d been saving for Ho-oh just to get some extra help. I didn’t expect to make it out.
In case you don’t know, the Helper Orb isn’t in the original RT games, and it summons a three-Pokémon team to help you for one floor. The moment I summoned the team, every single enemy in the room went straight for them, ignoring me and my teammates. Not a single one directly attacked us. I just walked right to the stairs, and I only took one hit from a room-hitting move, which I survived. Now I’m on floor 20! This attempt has been my most successful one yet!
(though I’m not sure how much longer I’ll last)
