What if: Monster House TV series

Thought of this while celebrating monster house’s anniversary. Since a lot of movies got TV shows adaptations, I think they missed a golden opportunity to make a monster house tv show.

Taking place after the movie, the series would follow DJ, Chowder and Jenny as they go around their town and beyond solving mysteries, exploring and fighting through haunted buildings and fight other possessed objects. I would’ve enjoyed two seasons of this show if it happened back then, three seasons tops even.

Motion-capture animation, Dan Harmon on the script, Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis co-producing, and a surprisingly dark story for a PG-rated children’s movie.

A total mid-2000s classic that deserves an anniversary rewatch today! 🎬
