Happy first hiking anniversary.
My mother mountain, Mt. Pulag. 2,926 MASL
and I had the privilege to be able to experience this sea of clouds. ☁️☁️☁️
Mt. Pulag
Reaching the peak of a mountain gives every hiker a sense of fulfillment

And you conquered the highest mountain in Luzon (me too!).
Back then, I was so excited that when we stopped and rested at the ranger station to get ready to summit I did not sleep at all, and then started summiting at 12 AM like a zombie. 😅
going on a trip with a bunch of backpackers is practical 'cause you can split the bill and save big bucks, but i realized just now is that there’s even a huge price to pay — u're stuck bunking with them and spilling ur guts, u will hav to endure the loudest snore while ur nocturnal side is active
as someone who's seriously introverted, i’m kinda pushed to mingle with people having different personalities and meeting new ones feels overwhelming
but hey, in a nutshell, it was all about finding cool stuff, cracking up/sharing laughs, sticking together even when we’re having difficulties catching our breaths, and throwing in a bit of a hypothermic adventure – definitely a memory worth keeping!!
