i was just trying to record this beautiful night theme when this tonal shift happened (around 01:05) oh my god

on another note, the latter part has a very "dune" (2021) vibe, the percussion in particular, and even harmonically

for comparison:

the utter shock and suddenness of the theme also reminds me of the opening of dune:
