Second rise of the beaver moon by Peter Thoeny - Quality HDR Photography Via Flickr: It's full moon, time for a full moon shot. I first went on top of a hill 9 miles away from the legendary Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton, high above the Silicon Valley, California. After taking a shot of the moonrise over the observatory, I drove down the hill, and closer to Mt. Hamilton to witness the moonrise for a second time. I processed two balanced HDR photos from two RAW exposure, blended them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
