Exceptional group ride with Rapha Cycle club - 116km with 2234m elevation. Starting point was San Francisco, over the Golden Gate Bridge and across the Sausalito, Fraifax, Alpine Lake, Stinson Beach, 7 Sisters (2x) and Mt. Tamalpines back to SF. On the start line were 35 people and in the finish less than 15. Check the map - highly recommended for ride!

Mt. Hamilton + Mt. Diablo in one day!

This ride was really special - full of breathtaking views and amazing green nature! Distance 182 km & elevation 3170 m 

We started our ride early in the morning from San Jose. Next stop was on the highest summit of the San Francisco Bay Area - Mount Hamilton with 1327 m. After 30 km of climbing we’ve enjoyed the beautiful views to Bay. From that point it was easy, just more 125 km to the top of Mount Diablo with 1173 m - our second peak :o)

If you want to overcome your own limits, I highly recommend this route! :D

Start of cycling season 2015

Bay area is nicely green and every ride to mountains is a breathtaking. The beautiful view on the photo is from top of Sierra Rd in San Jose. This point and the way around Calaveras Reservoir I highly recommended for your next bike trip in Bay!
