Cute Card: Hungry Lynx

The other hall of famer waiting on art is from Commander 2017.With a deck full of cats, certainly one had to win. Hungry Lynx was the top feline with its playful and sadistic nature. Dust Bowl is quite the hunter and quite the generous provider, looking to share +1/+1 counter rats with his friends.

Get Bumped

Last day of Inktober, so gotta spam the late ones. This inking is inspired by the MtA Cast’s love of Bump in the Night. A solid way to win a game is hovering over someone’s bed, spooking the life out of them.

Cutest Card Hall of Fame: Renegade’s Getaway Long gaps in time are long, but here’s some new art! As per usual, Maria of MtACast dubbed a cutest card in the newest set and this time a small little helper won the day. The brave metal boy from Renegade’s Getaway is doing his best to save his friend from the perils of Aether Revolt. With a puff of smoke, he’ll give you cover and distract even the surliest of Greenbelt Rampagers. With this line work, I’m one page closer to completing the coloring book for the MtACast. So keep an eye out for that if you wanna doodle on my scribbles.

Get Hoofed! Playmat

Another design completed and converted into a playmat so soon?! Guess Artcation is going well. Inspired by the antics of MtA Cast (as usual), I drew this finisher beefy boy awhile back. Finally made time to format it for a playmat and it’ll be up for sale very soon if interested.

Cutest Card Hall of Fame: River Hoopoe

Oops, somehow I completely forgot to post the winner of Hour of Devastation. River Hoopoe was selected not only for adorable art, but for real world sounds. Big props to any creature that can remain this cute during the collapse of a world. Maybe it just has a positive outlook in this kind of situation. Sure, everything is crumbling and dying, but plenty of juicy locusts flying around.

Christmas Ornaments 2016: Ornamental Gremlin and Christmas Candy on the Sandwich Merry Holiday Time! I’m not dead, just working too much. I took a small break from my assignment to make some festive decorations like I do every year. I try to create something from the most recent plane and there’s no way a gremlin couldn’t be the focus. Look at the hungry little face as he ravages that metalwork for sweet, sweet aether. An adorable sight on any tree. The second ornament is festive version of a MtA Cast saying, putting a little candy on your sandwich. Ideally, it refers to adding a little something extra. Despite the odd phrasing, it’s kind of a go to metaphor now. I made a similar version for a potential emote then got the itch to Christmastize it. While it’s a bizarre sight, I like it.

Cutest Card Hall of Fame: Messenger Jays

Last overdue winner, but I’m pretty pleased with the outcome. Took me far too long to settle on a design though. Honestly, my favorite part is the message, had to practice my cursive a bit. The final touch of Marchesa’s black rose just makes me a happy Vorthos. I’m technically caught up, but there’s Commander cutest card coming out today, so time to dive right back in. Expect to see that one much soon. Just don’t expect a colored version as soon.
