i just bought my LGS’s last box of EMA

i asked them to put it on hold for me last month because i thought i might be able to get school funds for packs? but the budget committee deferred my request because they wanted more details

so i sent them more details and asked what i had to do next to move the deferral forward and they never replied??? to my email???

so after waiting a couple weeks i just said screw it and bought the box tonight... hopefully i can get 5-7 club members willing to pay $35 to draft with me

either that or i’ll have to hold onto the box for 5 years and sell it for quadruple the price

Cutest Card Hall of Fame: Giant Tortoise

Been a bit behind on my cutest card winners, so I used today’s Inktober to work on one. Giant Tortoise was deemed worthiest out of all the card in Eternal Masters. His flavor text implies he’s a Bant tortoise so I decided to include an Alara native trying his best to move the stubborn beast. Can you guess who it is? I already have a cleaned up version of this, but I’ll post that later after color it.

So I cracked my box of Eternal Masters, the one that’s been sitting in my room since the beginning of the summer, with my brother last night, and we stayed up until 3am building two Sealed decks each and playing several games with and without sideboards. While I did effectively lose out money-wise (I actually made back probably half my box?), I still gained a lot by having a ton of fun. I’ll being uploading pictures throughout the week of our Sealed pools so I can see what you guys would have built. Maybe we can make a contest out of it!
