Dang It, Jace

There’s apparently a misunderstanding between the MtG community and WotC regarding people not liking Jace. Jace as a character in the story? He’s fine. I personally like Ajani better, but that’s for various reasons, just like some people have various reasons to like Jace.

The most common problem I see people pointing out with Jace is that his reputation for being broken cards in Standard - Mind Sculptor and now Vryn’s Prodigy - and the price spike associated with that breakage.

It’s my honest opinion that Jace, Vryn’s Prodigy, given the leaks for Shadows Over Innistrad, will be detrimental to Standard to a crippling degree. I could be wrong. I’m not blaming WotC, but they should have seen this coming. Madness and the new mechanic Delirium? Just asking for “literal actual baby Jace” to dominate Standard - monetarily and high tier decklists both.
