A few things I had to get out of my system

This doll ran in the complete opposite direction of my planned project but she wants what she wants. I originally wanted to remove the hair and give her African braids and a more natural face but she was bossy from the second she got out of her box.
Also I hope they release other skin tones of the petite MTM body because it’s really nice to handle.
I got this BMR doll about 8 weeks ago in the mail and finally got around to repainting her today. I’ve been moving house so everything is still a bit all over the place but I’m glad I took the time to sit down and do something creative

4 years ago, I set myself a challenge to see if I could make the open mouthed Millie sculpt appealing (to me. My personal preference is the closed mouthed one) and I loved her so much that the pink top MTM she was made from got to keep her head instead of being a body donor 😂
I really enjoyed this sculpt. For a $5 doll, it was surprisingly well made in terms of hair quality and had a real neck peg.
(I rebodied her onto a Tall MTM because she deserved arms that could bend)
