The following characters have been paired up for a war pairing thread. These can be chats, hybrids, or paras. While they have no expiration date, we do offer one of these every two weeks, so a decent amount of progress is expected, in that time. Also remember, you can always fill out the mission form, if your character wants something else, anytime. We’ll pair you up to the best of our ability. But now, here are the thread pairings with prompts.
Dorcas Meadowes and Poppy Pomfrey – Poppy takes Dorcas on her first infield healing mission.
James Potter and Anastasia Burke – James finds himself injured, trying to play vigilante and getting attacked by death eaters. Anastasia stumbles across his bleeding body. Can he convince her to save him
Regulus Black and Ted Tonks – Regulus continues to have doubts, but is tasked with injuring Ted Tonks, since word got back to Voldemort that he was involved with a member of the Black family, and he is a mudblood.
Aislinn Collins and Nathaniel Doyle – Ash has been asked to research something for the Order, and she subtly asks Nate for his help, with his History knowledge. They find themselves trapped in an old building and Nate must help direct her, to safety.
Irene Bowman and Severus Snape – Severus has been asked to prepare a dark potion for Voldemort. He doesn’t have access to everything he needs and sneaks into Hogwarts to prepare it. When Irene stumbles across what he is doing, can he cover or will he need to keep her quiet?
Calliste Delacour and Marcus McKinnon – Marcus finds himself at Hogwarts late at night, and he notices that Calliste is being followed. Will he stay in the shadows or try to keep her from harm’s way, especially after what he knew happened to her at Bellatrix’ hand.
Sirius Black and Tallulah Marsden – Sirius Black has been following Death Eaters in areas he shouldn’t. He’s busted by the young Auror. How well can he cover it up?
Lily Potter and Frank Longbottom – Lily and Frank are sent on a short day mission; in which they are forced to fight to survive. A second year muggleborn that Lily mentored during her final year at Hogwarts, is being held captive by death eaters. Lily and Frank must rescue the girl. If caught, they will kill the child.
You are walking around, and after not paying attention to where you are going, you step over something, only to realize it’s the dead body of a muggleborn. How do you react? Are you happy about it? Are you sad about it? Does it make you want to call the Aurors, or talk to the head of either the Order or the Death Eaters? Is it possible that you’re completely indifferent when it comes to what to do, if you’re neutral?
This is the first of our new writing challenges that will be posted every two weeks. They’re not compulsory, but they are important, as it helps your character get in a war mindset, which is the purpose of the roleplay. Write as much or as little as you like. We’d love to see what you come up with. The only real limit is if you are student, we ask it not happen within the walls of Hogwarts. Tag your challenges with: mtmwritingwar1.

War Missions, Etc.
It took us a good amount of time to get it finished, but our new war page is now live, along with the new look on the main. The war page has a lot to offer. We offer the following:
Sign-Ups for Missions, which include missions being created based on what you would like
War Writing Challenges (Coming Wednesday)
List of the currently missing or dead
A place for war suggestions.
We are also in the process of aging our open students, who don’t have a canon age, so that we can move completely to a war focus, soon.
We also ask everyone to be as active as possible as much as possible. We still have 30+ taken characters, that are active. We just need people to step it up, a little.
