Can we like have some self-love coming the Beast Cookies and Nether Queen Cookie?
Like I always see ships or interactions with other cookies that "redeems" the Beast Cookies and I saw that comic with Nether Queen Cookie.
Why is this lore making cookies low-key seem replaceable or not worthy healing on their own? It makes me severely empathizes with them despite being cookies in a game.
Like I wanna see Shadow Milk relearning his love for knowledge but for himself instead of for cookies. Burning Spice venturing and seeing Change bloom after ruin from personal experience as a cookie not a Divine. Same with Mystic Flour, I want to her to find purpose again without needing others to lecture her. Eternal Sugar seeing happiness bloom because of pain that came before. Silent Salt needs to learn he cannot judge the crimes of his former comrades without seeing the pain that caused it and he learns to commit to himself while allow others to stand with him.
Nether Queen's comic made me kinda sad. She was stuck there but she's not someone who can be replaced. She, like the other guardians, can fulfill her role while living as a cookie, maybe on an adventure in the overworld every once in a while. Why does everyone needs to have a replacement or successor to enjoy themselves? Let her take her naps or go drink some lovely on a nice afternoon.
Slice-of-life stuff for them to recover and recharge without cookies bothering them like in the story so far.
They are free to choose for themselves without involving others or using others as an excuse to continue. At least, that's what I see personally, that's lacking in the whole theme of crk. There are many paths and the one you can only see isn't always the best or only choice.
That's what I think White Lily certainly needed to learn as she is still not growing imo. Her seeing a few witches made her/DEC think all witches want cookies to be eaten when that's not the truth for other witches. She lacked the patience and open-mindedness to see from multiple perspectives. Freedom for cookiekind does not excuse looking for a conclusion that's behind a door that should stay locked. Witches gave them the freedom to live in a world of their own, to grow and learn, be good or evil, to just..Live! Not all cookies care for knowing something that doesn't matter in how they choose to live.
Maybe they do need a witch to come down and tell them to knock it off. Lol.
