If you want to hike a mountain with a Sierra Madre backdrop, do some research. Maybe there are other places out there that is less crowded. Mt. Mapalad is the Mines View Park of Tanay. Parking lot is full of 18-seater shit. You know...we hike mountain for the peace it offers, or the trees you get to touch or the conversation that has no background noise. A crowd this big is a guaranteed stress so your call. But hey, I know you want this! so...get a group of 5, maintain distance from the rest and have a good laugh on the trail. Nothing beats a night trail full of R18 and Tito/Tita jokes. So rock on! 🤟🏾PS. Don’t waste your time getting your photo on the other palad, unless you have a good photog friend, there’s no view.
