Day 293: Crankcase (Transformers Legacy)

Today I got Crankcase! It was kind of a spur-of-the-moment decision, and not my smartest choice, but he’s handsome! His front bumper comes off for robot mode, and it looks like a boombox, so I drew him holding Soundwave as his TR Boombox form!

(Bonus: I tried taking a picture of him with the flash on. I flash-banged him on accident…)

Imagine The Scavengers/Megatron Being Told By Their S/O How Much They Love And Appreciate Them

(A/N: First time writing for Krok and Crankcase, so please bear with me >->)

Megatron:

there are many who believe he shouldn't have such a loving s/o, but the one who believes that most is Megatron himself

he absorbs his s/o's strong words of love like it's the first cube of energon he's had in a millennia, but there's always that voice in the back of his mind telling him he should starve instead

in the times his s/o proudly states, or quietly mumbles how appreciative they are of him, he pulls them in close so that they don't see the conflict in his optics on what they could possibly be thankful for of him

he's undeserving of what his s/o gives, and of having them in general

Megatron knows the torment he rained down upon their race, one of many he nearly wiped out, and yet they still somehow found something about him to fall for

he begins to think that perhaps this is some sort of cruel punishment, a sucker punch to the face, falling so deeply in love with something he so desperately tried to eradicate

but when he hears them say "I love you", followed up by a long list of the all the reason why, more than half of which he'd never dream of hearing of himself, Megatron uses what strength he has so silence the cruel voices within himself, so that he may selfishly take in every word that comes from the person he so dearly loves, but also so very much does not deserve

Crankcase:

he tries hard to not scoff in his s/o's face when they tell him how much they truly love him; he's so used to giving that dismissive sound to others who try to look at the positive in things, that it's become real difficult to not do it as a knee jerk reaction towards his s/o

hearing how they appreciate him is just as hard to not brush off

they're so unbelievably optimistic, a complete contrast to him, and it tugs at his spark when that optimism and kindness is directed towards him

their words so softly spoken, and eyes dripping with adoration fill his intake with butterflies and warmth, and he wants so badly to show them that, but his face is just always stuck in a scowl

while it's already difficult to show his s/o how they're love for him truly makes him feel to begin with, it's a thousand times harder to do so in public; Misfire won't stop teasing for weeks, always jabbing about how adorable lil Crankcase is when his fans kick on and his cheeks tint blue

but in private, the moments much more tender, and Crankcase has slowly been easing his way into letting the tenseness and negative emotions out of his being to be able to return the affection his s/o so easily and naturally gives to him

Krok:

hearing that he's appreciated, is more than enough for the Scavengers leader, but hearing just how much his s/o loves him sends him over the moon

with being the leader of the Scavengers, it can be really hard for him to talk about his anxieties and other troubles, but now that his s/o is here, he's never felt so relieved

they always listen to what he has to say, and whether or not he wants some advice or just some ears, they always end things with a gentle kiss to his mouth plate and telling him how appreciated and loved he is

there are times when Krok's concerns get the better him, wondering what if he ever annoys or tires his s/o with his constant "ranting"

the clicking of his past team members thumb and the even more tired look in his optics, always gives his s/o a clue of what's going on inside his processor

his s/o is so quick to reassure him that they could never get annoyed with him coming to them, in fact they're so ecstatic that he openly talks to them about, not his complaints, but about his concerns and troubles

they love him so so much, and they along with the other Scavengers(even if they don't say it out loud), truly are thankful for all that he's done for them, and that along with the soft peck to his face plate, always brings a warm feeling to Krok's spark
