🔮What's your favorite plot twist you've ever written?

It’s most definitely going to be something that hasn’t happened yet, but in terms of what I’ve written so far, I don’t know actually. Maybe [SPOILER] the epilogue for fugue? Jay surviving the shot is technically a plot twist I guess. I. Dont know what counts as a plot twist come to think of it.

Y'all the self-sabotage has been reaaaal this summer! I told myself before the summer started that I was going to do extensive test prep for my teaching exams I have to take at the end of the upcoming semester, and I haven't touched any study materials. I'm already feeling the anxiety setting in for something that's a good 4-5 months away... oof

OK. I have been sitting on a project idea for years because I'm not...very good at drawing comics or stories out. I can doodle characters OK and maybe a scene or two but the idea in my skull requires more than what I have confidence in.

Sooooo

I have decided to throw caution to the wind and just draw what I can, how I can, till I eventually get to the point it actually looks how I see in in my mind.

I have been given a tablet but I am not always able to set up my laptop so I haven't tried it yet so everything will be done traditional style.

I'll tag my doodles 'mttc' so anyone not interested can just block the tag and continue enjoying Mahado's fluffy photos ^.^

Yo, I just read the first work in your series, incredible, wonderful I adore this

I love your writing style it fits so well with the source content while continuing to be absolutely beautiful and conveying the message

Your characterisations of both of them, particularly in such awful scenarios, showing both of them comforting each other while trying to mask their own worries and insecurities, and the fact that that was so obvious in Gatsby despite the fact that it’s being told from nicks perspective

The fact that they never say I love you but they both feel it and understand completely

My favourite lines are certainly Nick wondering when he went from Gatsby to Jay in his head, wonderful, and when Gatsby says never so assuredly

I also love the idea that Nick and Jordan were both just using this as a lavender relationship, beautiful, and it so well explains their complete disinterest in both each other and other women/men that approach them

It’s just so good, I’m so excited for the rest

I’m so glad you enjoy it so far!!! I really can’t wait to hear what you have to say for the rest of it. The scope of this story has gone so far what I could have imagined—it’s three times the original novel in length. Which is insane.

All this to say thank you for dropping by!! I poured my heart and soul into this work, and worked with obssessive diligence to make sure it’s. Exactly what I wanted to present to the world.
