because i do
every d3rlord3 answwr caught my eye but this one caught my eye the most because this is a rather innocuous detail that will apparently be plot relevant (i mean in context every detail is plot relevant in some way shape or fomr cuz hurr durr kiy but)
i thoguht that there was like three possibilities butthe more i thought about it the more ive gone insane so heres what i (and some what some others) have so far:

1: hes the target demographic for the drink: busy, broke and dont have time to cook, i mean hes confirmed to be the son of a single mother (possible widow?) and perhaps the breadwinner for the family. maybe he lives alone, far from home and dealing with college/uni debt, and he has to budget most of the money for rent above other necessities so it could be his lifeline, in every sense
2: if we're talking post-kiy, perhaps he gets visceral reactions to other food, meat repulses him because he Knows how the farmers bred and killed the animal before reaching the market, maybe he still smells and tastes the blood when biting down and it just makes him want to vomit. or maybe the whole manufacturing process just ruins his appetite every single time he tries to eat somethinf and soylent doesnt trigger him as much due to the fact that its plant based (at least from my searches)
3: d3r may have some kind of medical condition or disorder that may have restricted his diet, apparently it has been used to replace the tube feeding process for cancer patients or at least help patients in overall quality of life but im not sure
4: kinda related to the above points but theres a possibility that he may be cared for by someone else (maybe his mom, maybe a close member who is in possession of some medical knowledge), obviously due to how traumatised and sensitive he is due to the Knowledge. perhaps this person cant afford to feed two (maybe more) people, or maybe d3r cant go outside his room without an extreme reaction or perhaps overexerting himself
5: the person who tweeted this is right and my goat is a bum and cant fucking cook to save himself
6: OR this is a really layered metaphor for how d3r is basically chained to the world that doesnt exist, i mean the place was filled to the brim with greenary, with plants, not even flowers, and since soylent is a plant-based product as well as reported to not have a flavour as to make it blend in with other food, a silent presence - maybe its a kiy-branded soylent or something
or theres a secret option and irs just that d3rs a vegan or just dieting or that the whole series takes place in the US (rip) but idk
anywyas thats all i have, ive also been thinking about the farmer boy city boy dynamic wifies said when someone asked about their families....d3r gets to see what the big deal is with the whole city thing while being pulled around by avery......avery watchinf the animals walking around and the sun set in the countryside while laying in the tall grass with d3r.......drools.......

okay so since a singular person asked ( @2wisted-ch0rus hello dorry), heres the most mischaracterising tpc noli headcanons from like mid october that i didnt post yay!!!! (noli goes by they/all for me geheh)
gonna hide it under more cuzits kinda long sorry
-startinf off with bullshit i think noli is actually some kind of sentient robot, an automaton that was constructed by the admins as a precursor to automated moderation, but the idea was canned due to constant malfunctuon and budgeting reasons so noli was kinda left to rot (and they dont know how to process that due to their rather limited, and frankly busted, programming, so theyre constantly distracting themselves from the dread that theybfeel everytime they face the admins)
-he actually has code thats like rotting, while her abilities and physical capabilities are intact with incredibly minor slips, their ability to read and write is like, so bad, like all of the words are scrambled and indecipherable, sometimes their speech also comes out wrong and they need constant reparations of it because, well, thw admins havent really thought about updating or making any more copies of intergral parts
-despite their coding being as somewhat primitive, i think their whole body is a robust version of a miniature bomb factory, like they give themselces the components and ingredients of a bomb they wish to make (or see if they have any of it inside of them) and they pop it out from their back, its how this guy produces the bombs on the fly - during the latter half of their development the admins decided to try to make them self-sustainable and actually as threatening as an admin with a banhammer, so if any situation goes awry, noli could deal with it more prepared
-noli is like, ice cold, like really really cold; this is due to prevent any over (or really any) heating as to not accidentally set any of the components inside off or make anything unusable, so shes like, a fridge technically
-noli can make practically any bomb that a regular person could hold and traverse with, but makes the bomblings like that because its the easiest one to make and use in battle
-noli tends to the bomblings like actual children, despite them having no sentience other than what noli tells them to do, its fun to tuck them into bed, misread stories as the bomblings (and the aspxs for some reason) go to sleep, sag "here comes rhw airplane!!!!" when feeding them gunpowder, throwing them up in the air and catchinf, such they know that they dont really "feel" joy but they like seeinfbthem smile
-direct quote from my notes app: "quote from previous headcanon note cuz its still relevant: "everytime noli has to use a bombling they just gently cuddle it and say "its time, show time even, this is your curtain call..." and plants a kiss on its head then light its tail and throw it towards thw admins at mach 10 speed"
and then after that they pull out the same one they threw from their back and does the same thing from the top"
-speaking about feeding, i think noli can like repurpose the bomblings via what noli "feeds" them (if noli make an empty case rather than one wirh gunpowder and everything), like if noli feeds them confetti, they turn into a piñata or a party popper, pyrotechnics turn them into fireworks, liquids turn them into something like splash potions from minecrat, he can make them into glitter bombs, bath bombs, capsules, just about anything they qant to feed them (got inspired by an askblog but donr remember which one)
-they are in constant need of stimulation, again due to the fact that they were supposed to be a bot mod and supposed to keep constant surveillance, but now they just have a cnstant urge to cause trouble or make something or just practically do anything that isnt sitting around doing nothing, lest they want to see themselves rust
-noli cant feel sad becauss rhey dont know what that is, they have some semblance of empathy programmed in but they dont know how to process that empathy or what it even is, what it means to be sad and saddened by others, leading them to constantly misinterpreting the tension in a room or the moods of others or even the insults hurled at them
-since noli was only coded to deter rather than conversate, they cant really register any opportunities to continue conversations, like they donr ask questions or get curious or react too much at anythinf you say, unless its a threat/incentive to battle theyll "dismiss" it (full stop tge conversation wirh a short answer that they think gives rhe most "satisfaction")
okay some silly ones holy words:
-has a kiss the chef apron but they crossed out the word "chef" and replaced it with "jest" and added a really small "er" at the end
-likes climbing really tall things. building, structures, other characters, the coolkid mechs, they would like to see the world fromntheir view, or just huddle themselves into a crevice and jump out whenver someone enters the room, cuz you cant spell funny without fun!!!!!!!!
-they esculate arguments they come across by, no reason
-whenver 1x pulls out their sword against noli, noli would make a balloon sword in record time ans shout "en garde!!!!", which makes 1x extremely confused and disappointed
-nolis phone is basically any banana ever, like whenever they need it they just pick the nearest banana (or pick ot off aspxs head, donr ask how it got there) and answer it as if irs a phone, ans ir actually works, somehow
-yknow like primary school playground games, like pattycake and hopscotch, yeah noli and the aspxs do them together for funsies, just in the middle of nowhwere "i know what we should play!!" and then outlines with a chalk
okay thats all i have written down before, i dont have any more cuz im not as interested in tpc as more bur hopefully its okay, i donr know if you couldnr tell that i wasnt satisfied eith noli just being a glitch ans have no personal relations to the admins (i discovered how merely was the one rhat fixed the whole type a name and a non existent account shows up glitch and then paired that up with the whole noli is a dead admin that haunted the website then was like "why are people missing this shit this can be absolutely fire lore bro" so)
hhhhh i knoa i said i would sstep far away from forsaken as i possibly can but the redesign for jason, or rather oc-ified jason, the slasher thing is actually kinda cute and really cool, and yknow in gonna say it
forsaken would be better if it was all ocs, or at the least heavily redesigned/oc-ified versions of character, rather than just plain pre-existing charavters
like guest666s design bangs in the animalistic and demonic apartment which, personally, makes me grieve and wonder for pre-forsaken guest666. two time, albeit looks more like a parkour kind of person or some kind of deadfaced random teen with some kind of killer twist, leads to very cool interpretations of their design with their simple yet effective backstory (i was gonna say they should make it more uhh intense? or like more punchier or harsher with the cult and their relantionship with azure as well as explore how the cults relationship with azure as a botanist and a follower (or maybe azure was losing faith of smthin) in comparison to two times relationship with it, idk maybe im missing azures character and his lore somewhere and maybe im using the wrong term, flesh it out is probs the right term).
chance is funny as a whole game mechanic and backstory (i really didnt like the itrapped inclusion, i feel like it wouldve more interesting if chance brought their own downfall with all of the gambling and other borderline illegal activities) and has a good personality that is spoken through his design (though i believe they can complicate their design more). wanwood also just looks awesome with all of the leaves and her horns design, and im surprised she wasnt in the game from the start i feel like she wouldve been a really good facefrontier for the game as a whole personally, like i can literally the word forsaken from her, alongside slasher and the othefs mentioned (g666 less so cuz i still think back to the oblivioushds story but thats just me)
honestly, ive always found forsaken to have a very inconsidtent aesthetic or image in terms of visuals/designs cuz its modern with black and white scratchy ui and fancy ywt strict font but also retro and arg based with the map designs but also new with two time ans chance and spectre but also old with the myths ans hackers and admins, like sure it can be a mix of both but the characters like shedletsky and elliot and brandon with maps such as brandons and the one wirh 700 walls and feels like it stretches on forever before the noli update sticks out like an open wound to me with zero medical equipment and basic first aid knowledge personally. idk how to describe it without soundinflike oh tehy should be retro/modern and onlt be that its just they havent found a good middle point or a good and consistent niche between the two and the only reason why it sticks is because the game is popular (willingly or not,yoh see it hundreds of times), maybe its just me ans im being too harsh on a game whos still testinf out stuff idk theyll figure ir out soonee ornlater i have hope
honestly, they have a good set of designers and ideas and i would not be upset, infact id be overjoyed, if they completely redo the cast later down the line, sure most of the jokes and fame would be obsolete but i think it would genuinely remove 90% (or somekind or high percentage) of the pressure and the most annoying people ever in the community cuz the characters theyre here for are either redesigned or gone lol, plus the playerbase shouldnt go down unless they rework the entire mechanics of the majority of the cast (which i heavily doubt and do not push for) and if it does well theyre stupid cuz its almost the same game just with cooler characters rhat actually fits the aesthetic
how do i always find myself talking about forsaken, a game im strictly neutral about, more than the games i actually enjoy like pressure (still mad i forfot to say happy birthday kms), die of death, frozen soul, blocktales, regretevator and such god, maybe cuz im trying to be more analytical rather than consume everything as slop or contenr and also why im attracted to this game cuz this game is quite literally everything that stands for what i shouldnt care for but i still do in a way (is it the characters that reminds me of when i was younger and scared of john doe, 1x, guesst666 ans coolkid? is ir cuz im mad i missed out on or forgot so much cool characters and roblox lore pre forsaken cuz i was too busy on adopt and raise a cute baby, meepcity, the plaza and speedrun4? is it cuz im scared people will think i only like these characters cuz of forsaken and not because i got reintroduced to the characters ans start liking them again outside of forsakens lore, so might as well own it or give them whag they want/expect? is ir cause forsaken grapples on some of the easiest interpretations of the characters and make them trauma aura magnets which i am weak for? is ir cause the community is rhe only onws that actually gives me what i want but i have ro accepr irs from a game i dont like or dislike but would like ro be dissociated from??? is it to distract from the horrific fanfic i made of a ship ghat i only liked in one context for 3 seconds??????? am i stupid?????????)
