I'm a shameless alchemy of souls part 2 lover but I still have a few criticisms for it. My main one being that it needed at least 5 more episodes to 1) build up more tension for the end 2) re-build up character relationships and 3) given more time for the plot and characters to breathe. The other big one is that, despite the fact that I did grow to love the new actress/Cho Yeong, the show did not do enough to reconcile the fact that Cho Yeong, Naksu, Mu-deok, and Jin Buyeon are all the same person. It felt like the writers were relying alot on having told the viewers that they were all the same person rather than showing it ( plus relying on the idea that Jang Uk's only true love is Cho Yeong). Whilst I love Jin Buyeon very much (she is MY girl), she lacked a certain edge that Naksu had had consistently had throughout the previous season's 20 episodes. I understand that it was because she didn't have her memories but if she could remember certain phrases and things then imo she really should have had at least some of her old ruthlessness. Anywho, alchemy of souls is still a good show and I enjoyed it I just have a few gripes which I'll be resolving by writing more fics >:3
