Yes sir. 

HOW DID YOU KNOW THE VICTIM?

Well, I didn’t really know him. I knew of him. He was in the dorm next to mine. I only saw him a handful of times. 

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW THE VICTIM?

When he was leaving for the party. 

WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER HAPPENING AT THE PARTY? 

I stayed on the couch, mostly. I’m sort of an introvert, so social events aren’t really my thing. I was there for the free liquor. 

DID YOU LIKE THE VICTIM?

Not particularly. He was really loud, and had a lot of... adult encounters late at night in his room. I wasn’t a big fan.

DID THE VICTIM LIKE YOU?

He didn’t know me. 

DID YOU KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE HAD ISSUES WITH THE VICTIM?

Brandon Lowe. 

WAS THERE TALK OF DOING SOMETHING TO THE VICTIM?

What, like hazing? None that I heard.

They probably bought drugs off of Aiden, because it would take a impressive high to think up something like that.

I used to sleep with him, a lot, when he had a girlfriend.

August, sometime in August-- it was when I broke it off.

That’s a stupid question, I don’t remember much of it.

He was okay, he was fun to mess around with-- but that’s it.

I assume so, otherwise we wouldn’t have been sleeping together.

You either loved him or hated him, a lot of people had issues with Emmett.

Few weeks before. We weren’t close though... Like, at all.

Bible study, officer. We were all getting taken to church.

Not really. Like I said, we weren’t close.

Nah man, I don’t know who told you that but they’re wrong. I saw him at the party, same as everybody else did, but I didn’t talk or interact with him in any way after that.

Ridge looked at the officer and smirked a bit, nodding his head slightly. “Yeah, I was there. If I wasn’t I don’t think you’d be asking me, right mate?”

HOW DID YOU KNOW THE VICTIM?

He sighed and cupped the back of his neck, looking down as he spoke slowly. “He was my best fucking mate growing up.”

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW THE VICTIM?

“I saw him not too long ago. When I saw his dead body on the ground.” He looked straight at the officer trying not to break a smile with his reply. 

WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER HAPPENING AT THE PARTY?

“Actually, I don’t remember shit. If I’m being honest here. I remember walking in, chatting up mates and getting drinks. Checking out the cheeky girls who were there. I might even got drunk and started kissing girls. I don’t know, Sir.” Ridge said, calmly while trying not to laugh.

He laughed out loud shaking his head a little. “Well, mate I liked him as a friend. If that’s what you’re going on about.”

“He was my best mate. I sure as fuck hoped he liked my ass.” He said looking back at the officer.

Ridge looked down kicking the ground a little, saying “Nah, the wanker had shit with people. I wasn’t apart of his rubbish friends. If they hated him or had issues with him I didn’t know about it. We never talked about that since we got here.”

“Like I said before, I didn’t talk to most of his rubbish fuckers he called friends. So, no I doubt there was talk.” He said clearing his throat some.

Ridge shook his head, frowning. “No, I wasn’t the last person. I don’t know who told you that shit but it wasn’t me.”

“If I was that fucking low of a mate I would have offed him a long time ago. But I didn’t. He was a shitty friend most of the time but I wouldn’t kill my friend.” he said trying to calm himself down.

Ridge sighed and closed his eyes sightly, pinching the bridge of his nose. “No, it might have been a random ass wanker. But no, mate I don’t think I can think of someone who would kill him just like that.”

Xavier glanced up at the officer, his pupils wide. “Well officer, it was a party. I’m not sure if you’ve ever been to college,” he chuckled at his own remark, “you know, due to your obvious lack of knowledge on the subject. A party is a place where people to go and have fun.” He said as if he were explaining the matter to a toddler. “That is unless of course you were a loser, which judging by that badge you’re wearing now you probably were.”

HOW DID YOU KNOW THE VICTIM?

Xavier grinned ear to ear, leaning back in his seat. “We were friends once.” He placed his palms on the back of his neck. “Then,” his voice trailed off, “well you know what happened."

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW THE VICTIM?

"I don’t know,” he shrugged. “When was the last time you saw the victim?”

WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER HAPPENING AT THE PARTY?

"Well you see I got really plastered, like super plastered.” He laughed thinking about the night’s events. “You see, all I remember is grabbing hold of this female’s hand - I’m not exactly sure who’s, and crying because I just wanted to hold my mother’s hand. I remember swatting everyone else away, because she’s my mom! I’m not exactly sure who my mom is, but considering she’s a prostitute it may have been.”

DID YOU LIKE THE VICTIM?

"Define like officer. I mean there’s like, and then there’s like like. Like was I civil with him or did I want to bang him? You have to be more specific officer, this is the twenty-first century.”

"Some people have some strange kinks so he may have, perhaps you should ask him - oh wait, you can’t.”

"I don’t know, do I look like I kept tabs on the kid? If there was a hit list at this school Emmett would be at the top of it, or maybe there is. See how little you know officer, who do you think the next person on the list is? My bets are on Lowe, there’s a whole hate club centered against him.” He let out a sardonic laugh, “Or maybe it’s me.”

"Tons officer, you know we all gathered in a circle and spoke of different ways to sacrifice him. We thought about cutting off all of his limbs and forming a pentagram with his head in the center, and then we were gonna summon Satan to bless us with the answers to our semester finals. You busted us officers, world class policing.”

"That’s bullshit,” he laughed. “I wanted to make his life a living hell, why would I cut it short? It was so much fun, fucking around with him. Do you really think I’d get rid of my five o’clock amusement?”

"This is ridiculous,” he rolled his eyes. “You have no evidence supporting these claims. Listen, thanks to that cum guzzling frat boy you know who my father is. I’d be careful throwing around false accusations or I’ll have your badge tattooed on my ass. You’ll be finished!”

"This is a joke, you have no leads, you’re just trying to pin us against each other.” He said, standing up and pushing his chair in. “Now if you don’t mind I’m high as fuck and you probably have a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot to camp out.” He said heading towards the door. As his hand reached for the knob, he felt a firm grip on his wrists. The officer held his hands behind his back as he locked the cuffs in place. Once again Xavier had found himself in cuffs due to none other than Mr. King, except this time he wasn’t alive to blame. He laughed as the officer slammed him against the wall and read him his rights. “Mmm, yes daddy,” he moaned, “I like it when you use the cuffs on me.” He found amusement in the situation, probably more than he should. “I’ve been a bad boy, punish me daddy.” He whined as the officer escorted him to a small cell down the hall.
