PATOT DIYA MAAS Here's how it looks finally. This is also known as #maachpaturi in Bengali cuisune. So, the recipe goes like this: *Cut and clean 1/2 kg small fish known as #muamaas in Bengali. *Take 3 to 4 banana leaves and cut into 4 parts. (the more, the good) *Paste 1 tbsp mustard seeds, 2 green chillies and 3 garlic pods. *Chop 2 tomatoes, 2 onions and 2 chillies. *Mix everything together. Keep aside. *Start burning woods in the clay oven. *Arrange layers of banana leaves in a iron skillet. *Spread the fish mixture in the leaves layer and cover with again layers of leaves. *Place the iron skillet on the oven. *Add 3 tbsp mustard oil in the mixture and let it cook in low heat for half an hour. *The special #patotdiyamaas or #maachpaturi or #fishinbananaleaf is ready to eat with rice. 😋 (at বোকাজান) https://www.instagram.com/p/CI-eYR_hRvZ/?igshid=49b67pfbhfqh
