Went shore jigging today. Got another decent sized White Trevally. Winds were howling so changed my shredded 20g green/gold Mustad Tracershot Jig for a new 25g Chartreuse. Everyday now I’m pulling in decent sized fish on Tracershots. They’re flutter style jigs that sink slowly. Got this around 60/70yd out in only a few feet of water. Used my 9’9” Guide Select Pro & Limited Edition GT Spinning Reel both by Okuma. 10lb Eminent Braid by Soft Steel. I needed this beefier rig for today as the winds were howling. Since I started jigging Mustad Jigs I’m now not loosing my leaders anymore like before when I used lead egg rigs. I haven’t lost a Tracershot yet. Almost everyday I’m throwing back fish.
