Summery:

When Peter was twelve he saw a national manhunt on the news for a boy his age, Percy Jackson. A year later, they become neighbors and he meets the other boy. They strike up a friendship. A few years after that, Peter becomes Spider-Man. Superpowers can't stop his friend from vanishing unexpectedly though. or They are sixteen, it is just barely still summer, and Percy is back not long after the Sleep Incident, looking… good, there’s this lightness to him. Percy and Peter start hanging out more, since their summer is rapidly coming to an end. Percy had decided to try and teach his shy neighbor to skateboard and it went pretty terribly. Peter starts to trust Percy, starts to seek him out (even contemplates telling him about Spidey). And then Percy is gone. and he stays gone. It’s been over a year but Peter would recognize him anywhere. Percy Jackson is standing there knocking at his mother’s door. Like it hasn't been almost two years. There he is though. Percy Jackson. Alive.

Percy had made a promise to Peter.  That he'd always come back to him.  He'd first made this promise when he got back after returning the lightning bolt to Zeus, the news having said first that he was a fugitive, but afterwards that he'd been kidnapped, coming home to find Peter almost in tears from the fear of losing his best friend. He made this promise again when he went on the mission where he found Nico and Bianca.  He made that promise every time he went to camp seeing as every year something happened.  He made that promise after returning from the Battle of Manhattan, kissing his boyfriend with everything he felt.  Percy always kept that promise. Now he had to hurry to keep the other promise he made. That he'd go to Prom with Peter. HE always keeps his promises. Rated Teen for language, no f-bombs, but other curse words are used.

He landed on the shards of broken glass, ignoring as they dug into his one bare foot and ignoring the shocked look of the Avengers. "Mr. Stark!" Peter was in near hysterics. "Kid?" Tony Stark questioned, approaching Peter slowly. "What's wrong?" He was the only one (besides maybe Clint and Natasha but they were hard to read) who knew Spider-Man's real identity. All the Avengers knew Peter Parker and Spider-Man as separate people. One was a nerdy scientist working for Stark Industries and the other was a witty vigilante.

You know what's kinda sad? Willam's parents have no idea that their real son is gone from the accident, and Billy just possessed his body as soon the hex went down. But on the happier note, they took care of Billy for 3 years, and I'm sure Billy grew to love his "parents." Billy pretty much made a life for himself and found an awesome boyfriend.💙❤️
