Finally got to try my edible crystal candy that I ordered. Sooo good. If it wasn't too hot I'd try it with one of the tea bombs. Absolutely delicious. The sugar is so crumbly though.

Sure :D Pretty much anything in this recipe can be substituted for an alternative. The oats could be eliminated entirely, if you wanted.
Layer 1:
1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
Add all ingredients and mix until crumbly. Press into the bottom of a 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes.
Layer 2:
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup maraschino cherries
1 cup coconut
Beat eggs, then mix all ingredients. Spread evenly over layer 1 and bake at 350 degrees F for another 25 minutes.
Icing:
3 tbsp soft butter
2 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup cherry juice (left over from maraschino jar)
1/4 tsp almond extract
Mix together until smooth, ice squares while they are still warm.
Reblog if you eat muffins from the bottom and work your way up!
Ch-ch-ch-chia!
I am convinced I just ate enough food to kill a small animal.
