Southern Brazil
In Mucum, Brazil there's an ongoing flood that's causing residents to flee their homes. It's basically engulfing the town. After it rained a bunch, the river started rising. You can read about it here. There's even a video that pops up in case you don't feel like reading the whole thing.
This is tragic. The people with money have already left. I hope the other residents leave soon too. The governor has mentioned rebuilding in a different location, which is going to cost billions of dollars. Hopefully, everyone make it out of there safely, find or build new, and start anew.
