MUD culture is.. I'm not quite any of these disorders-- hmmm *coins my own*
mud culture is saying i have a disorder and NO ONE BELIVING ME!! like just bc its not in the dms5 doesnt mean its not real to me! im so tired of being called delusional! im NOT delusional for thinking my eyes are glowing red! they literally fucking are and if they just listened to me then theyd get it
Pro MUD culture is supporting MUDs because pretty much anything can be a disorder. Think about it. Non-MUD disorders are only disorders because they deviate from the societal norm, or how you’re supposed to behave, feel, act, or look. And they decided to label the types of behaviors, feelings, actions, and looks based off of what dosent fit the societal norm. I’m not good at explaining my thought process so this is as good as I can get it.
But seriously, anything can be considered a disorder… or alternatively, the ‘norm’. Example: if a country with a population has all blue eyes they would consider any other color as wrong. Not the norm. A disorder. So if someone with green eyes shows up they’re gonna consider that wrong. They’re gonna say that person has a disorder. Vice versa, if a population of all green eyed folk see a person with blue eyes they’re gonna think there’s something wrong with them too.
I seriously feel like it’s not about what’s genuinely “wrong” with somebody, it’s about what deviates from the norm that a society sets up. Which can be anything. So yeah therefore that’s why I’m pro MUD do you see the vision (I also have a few MUDs myself too teehee) hopefully this isn’t confusing yet again I struggle with explaining stuff
