Brief Introduction of Mud Gun

Mud gun, also known as drilling mud gun, its main role is to scour and stir the corner in drilling fluid circulation tank which can not be handled by mud agitator, so that the drilling fluid can be fully mixed in circulating tank.

The mud gun can make solid particles in drilling fluid uniformly suspension, and make it convenient to fractionate fluid levels and the purification system.

Mud gun is connected with the high pressure end of mud pump. It uses high-speed sprayed flowing out drilling fluid, uniformly stirs the drilling mud pool to prevent the drilling fluid in sedimentation mud tanks from stratifying.

Mud gun is generally placed on the top of drilling fluid circulation tank in solids control system and is divided into high and low pressure types. High pressure mud gun is of small displacement and high pressure, and its liquid is generally supplied by drilling pump. Low pressure mud gun is of  large displacement and low pressure and its liquid is generally supplied by sand pump(centrifugal pump).

When using mud gun, several aspects should be paid attention to. 1 The mud gun nozzle. It should be kept clean to avoid that the nozzle is clogged by mud. 2 The adjustment valve. It should be adjusted according to the density of the slurry.

Application of Mud Tank:
