Is it because in a can, the total # of mini ravioli has a greater surface area than the total # of normal ones, leading to an overall increase in sauce to ravioli ratio. This explains the better flavouring. I'm sure I can back this up with numbers too but I'm too lazy.
I think it has something to do with the greater concentration of meat that isn't very good at all, maybe I just like the taste of the pasta substance
