Repost about stinking Mud and Silver Whinnys by @soxforhorses 🙁 ‘’Our old retired thoroughbred overreached yesterday and has quite a nice gash. we have had so much rain that the one area of the paddock is ankle deep in mud. And he lives out. So I said to my mom let's put a sock on it and see what it looks like tomorrow but I didn't expect it to stay clean because it's right on the heel and I thought the mud would go through the thin part of the sock. Well today we had the first day of sunshine in 3 days and although the mud has not really dried up he spent the afternoon on the mud free side of the paddock and the mud dried and got hard on the sock. I wet the sock again to get it off and I did struggle a bit to get it off but was pleasantly surprised that the wound was pristine! These socks are just the best! Makes dealing with leg wounds and things so much easier” Thank you Jess 💙 • #silverwhinnys #soxforhorses #horsecaretips #mudfever #mudandhorses #outdoor_functional_wear https://www.instagram.com/p/CJTctEqHtsl/?igshid=kpkkvw9kom8d
