I was scrolling through your blog to refresh myself a bit (im rereading the muddled fanfic) and i got to the Playlists for the characters. Do you happen to know what episodes the quotes you used to title them are? Like i can remember them saying them but I really want to know exactly which ones they were.

Muddled!Rippen - "Let's Have a Good Zap!"

This, of course, is a Penn Zero quote he sasy in various episodes, but uhhhh, I cannot remember the first time he says it. My bad, I'll edit this with the answer when I find it. 😅

Muddled!Larry - "We Will Find Another Way. Together."

That is a direct quote from the Muddled Rendition of "North Pole Down."

Muddled!Penn - "REJECTION FEEDS MY ART"

A Penn Zero quote from "Cereal Criminals." Well, technically misquoted as it's actually: "Rejection only feeds my art."

Muddled!Sashi - "they can't be proud of what they don't know"

A Sashi Kobayashi quote from "Flurgle Burgle" when talking about her parents with Boone.

Muddled!Boone - "Break a Leg"

Not a quote from the show but one that Muddled!Boone himself will actually say a few times at some point (mostly directed at a certain redhead). In theater, it means good luck, but how he says it is more... ominous.

I've been trying to think what a Muddled!Mr. Egsgard would be like 🤔. Perhaps he's more enthusiastic about his coaching but not to the degree of Muddled!Rippen. That man is on a whole other level of passion! Unlike the hero, Mr. Egsgard knows went to cut his attention away from particular students who clearly aren't caring about his class... I wonder who. All I know for certain is that he doesn't like Rippen 🥲 even though the tragedy of it all is that Rippen wants to be his buddy!

He doesn't like him. Finds him too try-hard, deems him "unauthentic." Which won't stop Rippen from trying harder!

Principal Larry

He respects him and also fears him a bit, wants to know what's up with him, but also... doesn't need to know. Actually, no, he does wanna know the sudden personality change he had years ago, like, what's up with that? He was so bubbly and wouldn't stop talking about some guy named S—

Sashi Watanabe

He tried pushing her to her limits but stopped because she cried one time, and he immediately stopped trying. He'll let her go at her own pace. Nice girl, needs better friends.

Penn Scillan

He doesn't like him like... at all, especially during dodge ball. Do you know how many students this kid sent to the nurse's office? Too many! But admittedly, he did laugh when Penn ate shit and was sent there.

Boone Henchman

He utterly despises this kid, like omg he's somehow even worse than Penn! Ruder, louder, more destructive- he blew up the gym during the science fair held there! Mr. Egsgard's gym, his domain!

Favorite Worlds

Rippen

How could he pick just one favorite world? That'd be impossible- Dinosaur Cowboy World. It's a classic, learned many valuable lessons, changed the most, made some friends and he gets to ride a dinosaur! But he does also have a very good friend in Superhero World, hmm...

Larry

Clown World. Good memories there, even with people who turned other memories sour, this place still retain its goofy charm. Especially that Soda Parlor, always manages to make him smile somehow.

Penn

Superhero World. For the very few minutes he had superpowers and fulfilled some of his childhood dreams...

Sashi

Old English World. It was a breath of fresh air to be away from the boys and hang around Larry and Rippen (when he was around). Her acting skills weren't too shabby.

Boone

Monkey World... enough said.

Hated Worlds

Hate is such a strong word, y'know? How could one possibly hate- Plush Toy World. Giant, loud babies/toddlers and possibly the most annoying form ever to be zapped in? He's adorable and huggable, yes, but have you ever had to be stuffed, over and over? No? It's not fun at all. He would've chosen the Nothingness, but that's a void, not a world.

Larry

Musical Fairytale World. Your deepest, truest feeling comes out in song and is the main form of speaking? No, he can't talk about his feelings... he can't... he can't ever again 🤐. Body World was technically a worser experience mission-wise.

Penn

Superhero World. Doesn't have superpowers there, but Rippen does? Total rip-off, he was so excited to be a supervillain. And the betrayal he suffered?!

Sashi

Demon World. Mostly because of what happened after the mission rather than the world itself, it's not the world's fault, really.

Boone

Rock, Paper, Scissor World. He was literally attached to Penn! Do you know how infuriating that is? Extremely!

Okay so, last ask for the night, I’ve seen people talk about how their pzpth OCs would react to the muddled AU, but now I’m wondering: how would they (Muddled part-time heros/villians) handle witnessing their canon selves? Would it be like looking into a funhouse mirror, or into a nightmare?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOY!!!!!!!!

Rippen would be suuuuuper uncomfortable seeing his canon self. Constantly thinking: "Oh, that could've been me if I went with Phil. That could've been me if I hadn't met her that day. That could've been me if—" So on and so forth. He'd try to be as friendly as possible. He was, at one point, similar to his canon counterpart. So, he'll give him some grace. Don't get him wrong. His patience can still wear thin. Funhouse Mirror, Absolute Mild Nightmare.

Larry....... Larry, Larry, Larry........ He's so sick of this guy. While he tries to remain stone-faced, it's quite difficult. Just seeing his old self makes his skin crawl, too many bad memories associated with that smile, his bubbliness, just everything about him! He's almost happy to see how content his canon counterpart is with his Rippen... but then he sees how that Rippen treats him. This man is getting flashbanged with flashbacks he doesn't want to think about. He is again eternally thankful for Rippen becoming his a hero. Absolute Nightmare.

Penn, at first, would be kinda jazzed (oh wait, those two hate that word, whoops). But then he'll be a like "Ewww he's a goody two shoes? Blargh." But, once he learns that he was also wronged by Rippen.... well, maybe they can be good friends 😈. They would get along for a bit but they will inevitably clash with each other, especially when it comes to their friends. But their enemies?..... Funhouse Mirror.

Sashi would think her canon self is the coolest person she's ever met! They would get along the most out of everyone. Now, this is a friend she should actually hang out with. The boy's better watch out. Empowerment.

And Boone... he would try to make canon Boone cease to exist in a heartbeat. This oaf is a mocking depiction of his majestic visage! Nightmare.
