Well? What's their favorite worlds then?
I'll do you one better, both favorites and least favorites!
Favorite Worlds
Rippen
How could he pick just one favorite world? That'd be impossible- Dinosaur Cowboy World. It's a classic, learned many valuable lessons, changed the most, made some friends and he gets to ride a dinosaur! But he does also have a very good friend in Superhero World, hmm...
Larry
Clown World. Good memories there, even with people who turned other memories sour, this place still retain its goofy charm. Especially that Soda Parlor, always manages to make him smile somehow.
Penn
Superhero World. For the very few minutes he had superpowers and fulfilled some of his childhood dreams...
Sashi
Old English World. It was a breath of fresh air to be away from the boys and hang around Larry and Rippen (when he was around). Her acting skills weren't too shabby.
Boone
Monkey World... enough said.
Hated Worlds
Rippen
Hate is such a strong word, y'know? How could one possibly hate- Plush Toy World. Giant, loud babies/toddlers and possibly the most annoying form ever to be zapped in? He's adorable and huggable, yes, but have you ever had to be stuffed, over and over? No? It's not fun at all. He would've chosen the Nothingness, but that's a void, not a world.
Larry
Musical Fairytale World. Your deepest, truest feeling comes out in song and is the main form of speaking? No, he can't talk about his feelings... he can't... he can't ever again 🤐. Body World was technically a worser experience mission-wise.
Penn
Superhero World. Doesn't have superpowers there, but Rippen does? Total rip-off, he was so excited to be a supervillain. And the betrayal he suffered?!
Sashi
Demon World. Mostly because of what happened after the mission rather than the world itself, it's not the world's fault, really.
Boone
Rock, Paper, Scissor World. He was literally attached to Penn! Do you know how infuriating that is? Extremely!
Sally
Chimpanzee Sally at Monkey World in Dorset.

Monkey Business and Monkey Life
Since the release of Kingdom last year, I've been watching ape documentaries. It's been fun because I realized how little I actually knew about chimps, orangs, and gorillas, despite loving the POTA series for so long.
I've now finished watching two shows, Monkey Business and Monkey Life. Both shows focus on the primate rescue center in the United Kingdom, Monkey World. Business was the first show, running for 9 seasons from 1998-2006; Life followed it, starting in 2007 and still running to this day, currently releasing their 17th season.
I wanted to highlight these two shows because of how long running they are. You really get to know individual primates and their care team. Seeing newly rescued chimps get settled into groups and get to live happy lives among their own kind always puts a smile on my face. I cried multiple times when apes or humans would pass away, even knowing I was watching old episodes and these incidents had happened years ago.
The humans who work at the center truly do all they can to help the animals in their care. They help primates overcome their trauma, hand-raise abandoned babies, and work hard to provide enrichment to liven up their days. The rehabilitation and release work they're doing in Vietnam, at their sister sanctuary Dao Tien, is incredible; seeing gibbons and other primates living free in the wild is truly heartwarming.
Monkey Business seems to only be available on Amazon Prime (from what I can find in the USA) but all of Monkey Life can be found on YouTube (the newest 17th season is currently airing in the UK but will be released to YouTube later). You can also buy DVDs of seasons from the Monkey World rescue center. The first season of Monkey Life was narrated by Andy Serkis, our beloved Caesar!
Everyone please watch this video of a chimpanzee making silly faces at a baby

Art Tags
#my art- exactly what it sounds like! Art made by me.
#not my art- also exactly what it sounds like. Art not made by me, but still something I thought would be cool to share
Art reference!: cool references or sites with references I find for art!
here be dragons: dragons, yay :)

worldbuilding tags!
ok so I have four head worlds which can sometimes overlap so I'll give a little blurb explaining each one and what they have. but first...
#lemuria: not my headworld, but a public art event headed by Joshua Knuppe on paleostream. I had a couple things go through! Yippee!
Ok, now onto the meat of it:
#murrellia: my oldest headworld (been with me since 2018 or something). Basically a kaimere, world of atlas, subterramundus, "used to be a fantasy world but became speculative evolution" type business. This world has things such as dragons, pterosaurs, dinosaurs, several different modern mammals, etc. Kinda my fun little catch-all, kinda-sorta-half fantasy-ish world. It keeps evolving, which is nice
#chiropteden: my resident seed world! Basically a terraformed moon, seeded with a menagerie of different small animals. The Main creature is the striped yellow-eared bat, but there are also anoles, crabs, several small fish, shrimp, many many insects, etc. This one has a map now!
#paleoterra: my dinosaur world. Basically the classic "what if the dinosaurs actually didn't go extinct" type beat. I want to someday host an old-western rpg in this world so expect whatever I do post in this to be old-west themed. This one doesn't have anything yet though.
#monkey world: post-post apocolyptic earth. Humanity is far dead and gone and the earth has already rehealed. Populated both by the descendants of surving animals, but also genetically modified animals. it's called monkey world because the main "people" are fantasy races, but they're genetically modified monkeys now. Also, dragons are giant eagle-parrot-pheasants that spit stomach acid. There's nothing on this one yet either, but hold tight.
It's worth noting that all of my worlds are pretty soft spec, which means you shouldn't take them too seriously. I have fun making them, so have fun learning about them please!

Nature tags
#mmmm nature: anything nature related that I find neat!
#folks of the leaf litter: For all the little guys! This is the tag I use for terrestrial invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians, and some small mammals
#folks of the wind and clouds: anything flighted, so bats and birds
#folks of the waves and rushing water: this one's for anything aquatic! So fish, cetaceans, and aquatic invertebrates. This one includes both freshwater and saltwater stuff
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
People and life tags
#oh beloved senses: this one is basically my feel-good vibes tag. It made me feel something, usually something nice.
#silly little habits: I save this one for stories of the human condition and habits, so things like little anecdotes and such
#silly goody ahhh: My laugh tag. anything I find funny. It was supposed to be silly goofy ahhh, but I misspelled it because Tumblr has no idea what autocorrrect is and thought it was funny.
#home is where the heart is: Whatever I find comforting and makes me feel like it would be nice for home life. This one doesn't have much, but it's still nice!
#lights camera fashion!: my tag for cool fashion stuff! Also pretty small, but there's nothing wrong with that!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
misc. tags
#the babblings of a mad jay: my talk tag. Anything I directly talk on that isn't just me yapping in the tags gets this one, so be wary, because it's probably a lot of different stuff.
#important info to know!: any real-life info I find on my journeys that I think would probably be good to spread
palaeoblr: paleoart and prehistoric stuff
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you made it this far, thank you for reading! I honestly really like Tumblr, and I hope to be here for many more years to come.
