Sunset Concert Series in September!
Our last 4 shows of the Sunset Concert Series are upon us! Every Friday in the month of September features a different band from different genres, something for everyone!!
This Friday, September 3rd features the Indie Punk Rock duo, Muddy Ruckus! Muddy Ruckus is a rock duo of “darkly inventive americana” according to the New York Music Daily. Guitarist Ryan Flaherty and drummer Erika Stahl of Portland, Maine play a grungy style of railroad indie punk blues. This stripped-down power-duo blends rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit, and is known for a full rock band sound.
Friday, September 10th brings the return of our favorite Celtic Rock band, The American Rogues! Drawing favorable comparisons to Wolfstone, Afro Celt Sound System, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra and consistently providing performances from Grade 1 bagpipers and other world-class musicians this high-energy Canadian/American group has electrified audiences on three continents for years!
Country music takes over the Theater on Friday, September 17th with the No Shoes Nation Band! The five accomplished musicians of the No Shoes Nation Band pay tribute to Kenny Chesney’s incredible catalog of Billboard Charting hot songs from his top selling albums. The No Shoes Nation Band recreates Kenny Chesney show; playing the music you know and love. The No Shoes Nation Band brings the thrill and excitement of a Kenny Chesney concert with the same outstanding musicianship that has driven Kenny to sell out stadiums all over the country.
Last but not least, local favorite, The Starlight Honeys will close out the 2021 Sunset Concert Series. Three-part vocal harmonies define the unique sound that is the Honeys’ blend of old-time and new folk tunes.
