I Need Advice

Hello everyone! I haven’t been on fishblr in years, but I need some advice. My current fish have been generally unwell for the past several months. Nothing severe, thankfully. It just seems that no matter what I do, there is no improvement in their condition.

I have three fancy goldfish living in a 55 gallon corner aquarium. All of them went through extensive quarantine before being added to the tank, and the tank is cycled. I do 50% water changes once every week.

These are the water parameters as of posting this: PH - 8.0 Ammonia - 0.00-0.25ppm Nitrate - 40ppm Nitrite - 0ppm I question the accuracy of nitrates only because the red color of 40ppm and 80ppm are very similar. Please take this into account.

The symptoms they have been experiencing are as follows: - Splotchy, red skin. - Veins visible in some areas of their fins - General lethargy (only applies to one fish, PeaPod) - White or “empty” poop - Some “poopslosions.” I have never seen it happen, but sometimes I walk by the tank and notice a cloud of white particles in the water, like they had diarrhea or something. - Bumps appearing in their fins (?) - One fish, Skynard, seems to be OBSESSED with eating PeaPod’s ass. I’m not kidding. She literally goes under PeaPod’s tail and looks like she’s trying to suck the poop out of him. It doesn’t appear to be aggression or breeding behavior, though. PeaPod is the biggest fish in the tank, and Skynard is about 1/4 his size. Skynard is also female and PeaPod is male. PeaPod doesn’t seem to care at all, but it bothers me lol. I’ll post a video if I can.

I tried my best to get a picture of PeaPod’s fin veins. He is very wiggly haha, I apologize for that. Another thing I’m curious about is Mudwinkle’s fin condition. Mudwinkle came to me with conformation issues, but he seems to have a few more bumps than usual. Do you think that this is just his conformation issues evolving, or is it something else? I haven’t seen the other fish bully him.
