When do you ever see QBs with MINUS fantasy points?
Week 2: Team Steelcurtainit 122 v. The Gregoose Return 114
J-E-T-S What does that spell? Team Steelcurtainit’s new favourite team. Sanchez, PLAXICO, and Folk comprise a good chunk of Team Steelcurtainit’s team. Where is the Steeler love? Team Steelcurtainit went stone cold killer and drafted with his mind rather than his heart. Note to NATHAN next year. Then again, my son NEVER listens. Not only did Miles Austin dump Cameron Diaz he scored three touchdowns. Man’s game. Solid win over Goose.
We learned something over this past draft, when you draft high, chances are you’re going to have a good team. From Greg Gooseeggs to respectability, The Gregoose Return is FINALLY coming to play. Regardless of the loss, The Gregoose Return has a solid team. Kenny Britt in the sixth round looks like the pick of the year, and Philip Rivers had a good performance. Unfortunately, there were no breakout stars this week. This line up beats most teams on any other Sunday, just not this week.
Week 2: Colt.45 Four-Five 93 v. NATHAN 7 63
It looks like the EA Curse affected Jamaal Charles rather than Peyton Hillis. That’s what happens when you auto-draft your first round selection (Reference: TEAM FAST—it was the Apple Mighty Mouse! I swear!) Luckily for Hillis, it’s beginning to look like that his run from last year was no fluke—unlike Steve Slaton. Matt Schaub was decent—but just a little better than Kolb. Good win—but every win over Nathan is a Good Win. My son needs to be taught hard lessons every day.
NATHAN 7 What the hell?! NATHAN had three players on the starting roster that were already called OUT before Sunday, but NATHAN kept them on. This is beyond perplexing. This is an EPIC FAIL of Greg Goose Proportions. Are you even trying son?! NATHAN if it wasn’t for Drew Brees, you would have had the worst fantasy loss of the decade, and we’re only two years in. NATHAN needs to find a solution for his depleted RB corps, because Jerome Harrison will not make the cut.
Week 2: JAGUARS –MJD 121 v. Sungset Park Stormriders 101
This week JAGUARS –MJD showed up. After JAGUARS’ beatdown by the LOS DINOSAUROS, the JAGUARS woke up and laid their own beatdown on the Stormriders. JAGUARS were led by superb performances by Adrian Peterson and Vincent Jackson. It’s a good sign when Travis wins; he’s inclined to pay his fees. Don’t be last again.
Sungset Park Stormriders would have earned a win if he was against TEAM MATTY ATTACK or even PRIMETIME PT, but instead will have to reside in the basement with the girl from Silence of the Lambs, “It puts the lotion on its skin.” Anyway, Kevin Kolb was decent—then again, my backup (Jason Campbell) did score higher. Also Reggie Bush—who I still respect from his USC days—was neutralized. Wait! Who has Daniel Thomas? Wait for it... Me. The Stormriders had a phenomenal D/ST performance which comprised of 20% of the Stormriders points. It was valiant effort, but to be honest, on most days, it would have only beaten NATHAN.
Week 2: PRIMETIME PT 91 v. TEAM SHALLAN 100
PRIMETIME PT, first off: You lost to a girl. Secondly, you lost to a girl who for the most part chose black players, PRIMETIME PT, you only have Aaron Biltons. Your RB corps was pitiful this week, and if it wasn’t for the second-tier players (K & D/ST), the loss would cut deeper.
TEAM SHALLAN, you go girl. Matthew Stafford is a stud and even better, a seventh round pick. Your other players Beanie Wells and Rashard Mendenhall were decent and earned TEAM SHALLAN the draft. Note to Allan: “That’s how you draft!”
Week 2: Air Wong 1.0 94 v. TEAM MATTY ATTACK 96
Aside from Run-DMC and Aaron Rodgers, the rest of Air Wong 1.0 is nothing to write home about. Jeremy Maclin made more points for TEAM MATTY ATTACK that ALL of Air Wong 1.0’s receiving corps. Air Wong 1.0’s loss is brutal like a Jamaal Charles ACL.
TEAM MATTY ATTACK owes Michael Vick a new Rottweiler for targeting Maclin more than DeSean Jackson. Antonio Gates was held pointless by a stifling defense. Julio Jones is also not the next Roddy White. BTW, TEAM MATTY ATTACK, why the hell do you have two SEAHAWK RBs?
Week 2: LOS DINOSAUROS 134 v. SHYNG TIME 112
I admit when LeSean McCoy scored his second touchdown, my heart palpitated a little bit. Then I remembered, SHYNG TIME had 50 points to make up before the end of Sunday Night Football. So instead, I calmed down, finished my beer and basked in this victory.
Once again Tom Brady has been the shining star of my team, and was the best quarterback out there again. SHYNG TIME had a solid performance by McCoy and Ryan Mathews, but SHYNG TIME went against me on the wrong week. SHYNG TIME’s hopes of a wire-to-wire finish have been dashed. You’re welcome.
Week 1: SHYNG TIME 120 over MATTY ATTACK MATTACK 96
My other son versus my nephew. I can't wait for the next family reunion now. I'm going to hear about this one this US Thanksgiving--only after I finish punishing Nathan for sleeping with only a shirt on.
SHYNG TIME won with a 63 yard Janikowski boot. Seriously, I found my nephew's win amazing where most of his points came from his Secondary players (TE, D/ST and K). LeSean McCoy was a beast. SHYNG TIME punished my son (sadly). As for my son, his DOGFIGHTER led the way. Unfortunately, DOGFIGHTER had more rushing yards than his RB2 and RB3 combined. Aside from a strong performance from the BEARS D/ST, there was not much to write about.
Son! Wear some pants.
