The way Kiros the only good character in Mufasa
Not biased btw
With the inclusion of Kiara and Kion in "Mufasa", we can conclude that "Lion King 2" and "Lion Guard" are, in fact, canon to the original. Does that mean we have to consider all DTV Disney sequels canon, regardless of quality or continuity errors? Because that means we would have to consider "HBOND 2" canon.
So mufusa was ehh cute! I’ll give it that probably forgettable a little really but still cute! But it definitely would’ve benefited from being animated like really it would’ve, because the scenes that you can tell were supposed to be impactful… kinda fell flat because the cgi photorealistic lions emoted like photorealistic lions. I would say the most impactful scene was the betrayal scene on the mountain that went pretty hard I won’t lie.
But other than that it was alright wasn’t awful wasn’t outstanding either.
BUT I will say Beyonce. BEYONCE girl you need to be better at not sounding like Beyonce because I can’t take shit you said serious like why did you do that to nala. You’re daughter did better than you😭 your ass needs voice acting classes fr, I’m honestly surprised she didn’t sneak a song in there

Circle of Life
Until two months back, we were leading our normal lives, going out about our work, routine and daily chores in blissful ignorance of what was about to happen. Today, the definition of normal has changed for everybody. For some of them normal is waking up in the morning to get on with their daily tasks; for some it is working all day from home and then are many others, who wake up in unfamiliar surroundings not knowing if they will even be able to have two meals that day. The plague has unified us in the face of uncertainty. The whole world has come to a screeching halt and we have been put in our natural place, returning to the simplest and most fundamental things in life hence evincing the Circle of Life.
The theory of the Circle of Life is one that has figured in several disciplines of Spiritualism, Occultism, Religion and Science. It takes the form of various subjects such as Karma in Spiritualism, Destruction and Resurrection in Occultism, Birth and Death in Religion and the cyclical, natural order of the food chain in Science but the underlying significance of the theory is that nobody is immune or invulnerable. It tells us that even the most powerful and dominant countries, one day, will be subject to failure and collapse. Wealthy and affluent people are tied to this world just as a small insect is. When Mufasa told Simba to reclaim his throne and find his place in the world, this is what he essentially meant. You can be talented or insignificant; you can be privileged or poor; the truth is that every single organism has a part to play in our modern society.
Times like these, where we face doubt and despair, is when we are humbled to cherish the most basic things in life. This might be nature’s way of telling us that fundamental things can never be taken for granted. We are taught this harsh truth as we see our safe, comfortable homes become containment zones; every food item become essential; every working day passing in fear of losing our job and salary and every future plan become blurred and indistinct. I am now convinced that nature has a way of re-ordering things into place. We have seen this in wars, natural calamities, social revolutions and previous pandemics but what we do not have is clear evidence of the transformation of human attitude after these events. Did they re-order their ways of life? Were they able to lead a more fulfilled life? There might never be a way of finding out.
As every day passes, there are more deaths in some parts of the world and hope for restoring normal life in other parts; however, some experts argue that we might never go back to our old ways of living. As frightening as this may sound, it could also be another one of nature’s doings where we are given the opportunity to define a new way of living. There are a few enchanting theories of The Circle of Life which claim that when something is taken, it leaves behind a possibility to create something else that is new. So how do you want to define this new life?
Guarentee when James Earl Jones dies all posts about his death, or referencing his life won't say "rest in peace" they'll all say;
Long live the King.
And I'm 100% on board with that.
