No Kings Day
Well we made it about two hours before the weather turned. I'm back home and I'm soaked.
Anyway, I spent the past week making my sign. The original plan was to paint Esmeralda with the word "Justice!"
Turns out I can't draw Esmeralda. Her eyes were too hard. She ended up looking everywhere but the place she was supposed to be looking. Plan B.
Friar Tuck is everything a Christian is supposed to be. He serves the poor and underprivileged while rebelling against the corrupt establishment. He's not about pushing his religion on others, he's showing the love of God through good works.
Initial sketch, to see if I could actually draw Friar Tuck.
Pencil sketch on foam board.
Partially painted. Acrylic paints with sponge texture for the background.
Finished with acrylic spray top coat for protection and shine.

I wish I could go vegan. I really wish I could go vegan. But if I don't eat a protein-rich diet I get crampy and sick. I literally need meat to function, even if it's just a quick cold hot dog. I don't know what's wrong with me or why I'm like this other than I'm American.

"Aristocrats" is not a good movie. I know it has its cult following in France and Japan, but it's NOT. At its best, it's merely mediocre. It wants to be "101 Dalmatians." It wants to be "Lady and the Tramp." At some points, it even wants to be "Jungle Book." So it ends up being this remicrowaved mishmash of all three with the charm of none. Of all the remake candidates, this is one of the dumbest.
