I miss stimtastic. Like yeah other sources exist for chewelry and spinner rings and texturythings but I like the way they described the chews and things. And who remembers the dragon necklace? I love it so much that I very deliberately bought a second (a backup) when they announced their impending closure. But recently I decided to try to look up the pendant to see if I could replace it now if I needed to (I don't; existing necklace and backup are both safe in known locations and good condition.) And I can find it, but only on Chinese marketplace websites I'd never heard of before. Hard to fuck up "stainless steel that looks the right shape", but also I'm glad I don't actually have a need to order from them bc that's my favoritest necklace

Okay, so I know the whole fandom pretty immediately jumped on the "omg rose had a whole pack of lions and pearl didn't believe she even had one" train... But I have another idea. What if Buddy was just dehydrated/hallucinating and there was really only one lion? Or what if he only saw one and Rose encouraged him to write about more (because the one was a secret but if people knew about him they may as well get sidetracked hunting for the others rather than inspecting him too closely). Or maybe there was only one, but Buddy was just as dramatic as Jamie so he decided to write about 7 lions to make his story more intense? Idk I just really like the idea that Pink Lion is the only lion (if only because it's funny because everyone else assumes the opposite).We got that hint at the end of the episode that Steven's imagination isn't particularly accurate, so if Buddy wrote exaggerations into his journal, we the viewers have no way to discern them from real fact. Idk I'm just not taking that at face value yet.

Alright so I re-discovered the "tag your ocs" blog and decided to go through it. I only have 3 main ocs so there's commentary on all three of them on most of the posts in the tags. This is too late for people who caught me mid-spam but if this is on top of your feed, you can filter out "oc spam" and skip most of those posts, I'm not offended. (alternately you can search it on my blog and read all about that dysfunctional family. If you want to ask more about the characters feel free but fair warning their backstory is mostly shit because Mal and Cor have been around longer than I knew what good writing was) I failed to tag a few though and I'm going to try to scroll through and fix that

I'm really tired, but if I try to nap now, I won't be able to sleep tonight. Also I want a more hefty dinner than the bread and salad we had a while ago. But I'm too lazy to make anything. If my feet don't hurt too much, I'll drag myself down to the basement and bring up some of the cans of coke to throw in the fridge, since the family I'm staying with has a bunch but never drinks it. I shouldn't let myself remain addicted to soda, but this evening it would be caffeine and calories to re-energize me...
