This anime wants me to ship Konohamaru and Mugino so bad even though I KNOW what happens

I’m so glad that they still brought Mugino up instead of completely writing him out of the story. In the manga he’s not even mentioned anymore not long after his death, but that’s understandable since Boruto and the other kids didn’t seem to have even met him until that mission. In the anime, however, they had a long mission together, so no one talking about him after they got back to Konoha would’ve been bad writing.

To me it’s really sad that who I’d assume to be Mugino’s closest friend didn’t really know him, either.
