Me: I just really like being nice and kind to others, making people happy makes me happy. And giving them presents and seeing them so excited is one of the best feelings I’ve experienced

Me: Just nodding in order to pacify them, in my head “Hon salad is disgusting I’m just buying croutons to eat croutons, I don’t buy into that salad shit.”

Me: starts doing math hw

gets to the next question and it is entirely different from what I’ve seen in class or on the notes, but I try regardless despite there being no instruction on how to get an answer

Me: answer I get: 245

       Correct answer: 2789

Me: Uh.....okay? Lets try this again

About 45 minutes pass

Me: still getting the wrong answer Fine! I’ll just go onto the next one!

Its pretty much the same as the last one but with different numbers, same thing goes for the next 3

Me: Internal screaming Well I guess I’ll just try my best

Another 15 minutes pass and I still don’t get it and go to the next question

Again, its something I’ve never seen before and there’s no instructions on how to do it

Me: More internal screaming Well I guess I’ll try my best, again....

Same thing as before happens for the next hour

Hey. All people who shop at retail stores. I have some advice for you. Please please please don't come in with backpacks on or carry dufflebags. It puts all of the employees on edge. I know you're not there to steal anything but it's impossible to really tell from those who are just there to shop and those who have sticky fingers at first glance. Maybe you forgot your bag or are wearing pants that don't have pockets. It's understandable. But still. There is a higher chance you will be watched more closely by those in the department you're in. I know that it might seem a bit inconvenient or ridiculous, but believe me, employees have enough on their plate as it is and don't want to be watching you more than they have to. The place we work and the people we have to deal with on a daily basis is and are shitty enough as it is. I'm just saying. Please don't have to have an employee follow you around from a distance and then get wrongly asked to reveal what's in your bag. It's embarrassing for us too. This has been a PSA

Hi yes I’d like to reiterate something.

Social anxiety doesn’t purely mean that a person gets anxiety from talking to someone. It can be a contributing factor, but, it isn’t the entire reason.

Just being outside can make a person anxious. Just being around people can make them anxious. Even if its a place they’ve been before or people they know. And no they aren’t doing it intentionally or for attention.
