Prophet Muhammad (sm) was sent to humankind

Birth of Hazrat Muhammad (SM) and Hazrat Isa(AM) ;

Every day I learn new things and I think I should try to disseminate such ideas to others . After the break is an account of the incidents that has been purported to divide human race . I will try stitch in a needle or two here and there .

I really did not know that Hazrat Isa (AM) and Hazrat Muhammad(SM) were the descendants of the same family . They were the descendants of Hazrat Ibrahim (AM) .

Isa(AM) was the descendant of the second son of Ibrahim(AM) and Muhammad(SM) was the descendant of the first son of Ibrahim(AM).

The family lineage of Isa(AM) also included Musa(AM) and many other prophets . Many of these prophets was given the task of guiding people to the true path.

Now it so happens that Isa(AM) has also done to drive the people who went astray at that time . He told them to follow Allah . Some of them did , some failed to do . And after Isa(AM) was taken by Allah , he (Isa(AM)) left them behind Injil , the divine book that his followers were supposed to follow. In that it was told that Muhammad(SM) will come and he will be the last Prophet from Allah .In Injil was given the characteristic that the last Prophet will have , vivid enough that the claimants of the Injil were sure enough to understand. It was also instructed that on Muhammad(SM) arrival upon Earth , every body should follow him and his instructions .

Prophet(SM) did arrive and even if he arrived 500 years later , there was ample evidence for the followers of Isa(AM) to follow . But , and this is the huge "but" for the followers of Isa(AM) . Muhammad(SM) was not born to any of the families that the followers of Isa(AM) thought would born , and there henceforth started the greatest rift in the history of humankind . Muhammad (SM) was born in Quraish family and guess what that family contained the descendants from the eldest son of Ibrahim(AM).

It was this fact that the followers of Isa(AM) and Injil found hard to grasp , and instead of following Muhammad(SM) , they tried to harass him in many different ways .

Lastly , a personal conjecture of mine : Those who followed Musa(AM) were also instructed to follow Isa(AM) , but they didn't were known as Jews . THOSE who followed Isa(AM) and were told to follow Muhammad (SM) , but they didn't they were known as Christians (By the way people often do not live very long , so one might ask , how the same person would follow two Prophet , their divine books (if untampered) told them to pass the message to their descendants).

All the way , these Prophets Isa(AM) , Musa(AM) were giving the same message . It was to follow Allah . The procedure would have varied , but the message , believe in the oneness of Allah , unto death . And those who did so , are know as Muslims , period .
